The very narrow brush cleaners are perfect for cleaning narrow straws which is fantastic for removing the smoothie particles left in the straws (even after being submerged in VERY HOT WATER for several minutes). I would have to believe that smoothie, fruit, milk or other beverage particles could possibly lead to the growth of mold and or bacteria over time if the straws are not properly cleaned. ... show more

Are use this to wash the syringes that I feed my puppies, formula in, but I also use them to wash the straws which is very helpful. It was a great buy, and I will purchase more in the future. They are not cheap, nor flimsy they do the job really good.
