I recently purchased some camping chairs that would fit in a backpack but need a table that was small enough to fit into a backpack as well. This one is VERY compact and easy to put together/break down. Pretty sturdy, I love the metal top and it fits very tight and flush, not wavy like some of the others I’ve seen similar to this one. I bought both this table and another table on Amazon that looked similar but was $8 less expensive. I set them up side-by-side and they were identical, even down to the storage bag and the shipping boxes. I took one of them camping, along with a Medium size version of this same table. This Large version of the table bent badly the first time it was used. I set a cast iron skillet towards the outside edge while I was doing meal prep (slicing onions) on a cutting board on the other side of the table and I noticed as I worked that the table became more and more wobbly. I started looking at the table and it was very clear that one of the aluminum cross pieces bent and was causing the now tripod table to have a see-saw effect between opposite corner legs, with at least one corner always being about an inch off the ground. I think that the Large version is fundamentally flawed due to its size, which allows for more leverage to be placed at a more extreme angle on support legs that use the same diameter tubing for the leg structure. While I was able to perform the same task with the Medium size version of the table the next night, albeit with less surface area. I am returned this Large version ASAP due to expense and fragility. We purchased the large collapsible table for our campsite which requires travel by boat. It was very important that we had to large table surface in the smallest package possible with the intent of using it for cooking/meal prep. The tabletop is aluminum and held up very well using both a jetboil and single burner butane stove.. After 5 days and 4 nights camping off the coast of Maine the table has become unstable. The metal pins that hold the legs together have become loose and wobbly. It's an awesome table but it may not last another trip due to the thin metal pins. I will not be repurchasing when it fails. ... show more

Purchasing this table is one of the best decisions I have made recently for our camping gear! It is very sturdy (it held our 5 gal water jug and camp stove easily), a nice height, and big enough to hold quite a variety of cooking gear. It folds up pretty small and doesn’t weigh too much. The only thing I would caution is that the little end caps that hook the table top to the legs are made of plastic and come out easily, so I remove them each time I pack up the table and keep them in a baggie so I don’t lose them. Consider myself fairly inteligent. The 2 moving bars do not lock in to the "leg structure". Maybe I received a damaged one? After trying many times could not get it together in a sturdy fashion. Instructions were stuffed in the bottom of the bag. Am returning for a higher priced similar table with many more positive review. You get what you pay for???? Oh, I did like the aluminum color, but not if my coffee or wine (!!!) end up on the ground! ... show more

It packs up small and is very lightweight. It's not quite as sturdy as the fancy Alpine brand one, but it's also 1/4 of the price.. Its been working well for us as a side table while camping or to toss the stove on when dispersed camping. Good product for the price.

This thing is very light-weight, and super easy to set up. I believe it’s made of aluminum so it’s nice that it won’t rust. Maybe the manufacturer focuses too much on the weight reduction. The metal sheet that’s being used to make this is thin. I would not say this table is sturdy by any means. I set a grocery bag (~20lbs) on top of it and immediately noticed the metal wants to bend. The stands were spreading out a little further too. But overall I’m happy with the purchase. It’s holding up so far. ... show more
