So I just finished putting this together. Haven't even put anyting on it yet, but I have some things to say: Putting this together was one of the most annoying things I've done in my adult life. I'm not a master carpenter, but I can follow directions just as well as the next person and this was hard. All the pieces are labeled, which is lovely, but it's like they threw all the bits and bobs in a pile and then tossed a handful of letters and numbers at them and let them fall where they may. Labeling them in order of use would have been a more logical way to go. Also, the predrilled holes aren't really in the right places. I had to pull out a drill and make some serious modifications. Especially to boards 8 & 9 as they were either mislabeled or they were drilled completely wrong. It was frustrating. FRUSTERATING. In the end it all came together and will look fine with my pretty memories on it and no will know that it was a pain in the butt to assemble. But I'll know. I'll always know. Edit: Ok. It’s been a few days and I’m over the frustration of putting it together. It’s really cute and I’m glad I powered through. So do the same. You won’t regret it. ... show more

Beautiful shines white wood with gold medal frame. Very sturdy and solid light weight pieces. It was easy to install the best advice I would give someone is when you’re putting the drawers together think of it as upside down and pay close attention to the middle holes three of the drawer pieces are the same and only one is different. I used power drill on that part. Everything else simple. Great quality. 2 draws not a lot of space but enough to put paperwork and a labtop away. It’s has good stability. ... show more

I needed some attractive shelving for books and other items and this works great. I like that I got a couple of extra drawers with it. The white and gold compliments the other furniture I have. It’s fairly sturdy. It took 2 people to assemble. My boyfriend did a lot alone, but it’s better to have 4 hands for some areas. I will say some of the spacing for shelves feels a little awkward. Be sure to have some taller vases or bottles for decoration if you care about how it’s going to look. Overall I am happy with this purchase for the price. ... show more

I wanted to redo the office on a budget and these shelves fit the bill. They are Saturday, looks great, and easy enough to put together. Took me just over an hour to assemble. I did have some troubles with the drawers. Got to the last step of sliding the drawers in and they stopped about an inch short. It turns out the screws on the slides were not screwed in far enough so the drawers were catching on the screw head. The holes are not pre drilled and I couldn’t get them any tighter after it was assembled but my husband could. So make sure all screws are flush before final assembly. The pieces aren't aligned correctly so everything is a little off when you put it together. Not a huge issue but the drawers don't fit perfectly and there are either gaps or it rubs. A bit wobbly so I wouldn't put breakable item on it.
