***Update*** The business day following my poor review, I did get a response from customer support. They had not seen my review yet, because they brought it up way later in our conversations. That being said, after a video of the issue they promptly sent me a replacement DC motor and controller. However, the motor controller had a different connection for the remote. So, it didn't work. I blame the company they drop shipped from, not Hismith. After hearing this they apologized and decided to send me a new unit, yes, a whole new unit! I'm happily giving myself cray O's again! I do highly recommend this toy. It's relentless at giving! I left my poor review below for anyone curious. I would recommend at least the 100w to anyone seriously thinking about dropping this kind of coin for your pleasures. Okay. I own a Tabletop 2.0 Wired. The machine itself is 'pretty good'. But when I clench it over draws amps and stops the machine. Safety first I guess. Just drill me though. The wired controller I am very happy with. I think I would prefer it over an app control considering I'm covered in lube and all sticky and the thing stops when I clench too hard, so yeah, I don't think the app would be much fun. At exactly 11 months of ownership the motor started making bad clack banging noise. I use it maybe a couple times a week. It's a simple machine and I troubleshot it to the drive shaft coming lose from the armiture and banging back and forth inside the DC motor. It's not fun having the thing banging you banging like a construction zone! I've used the "Contact Us" page about 10 days ago and I have sent an email to [email protected] with NO RESPONSE. This item has a 1 year warranty but if the company is unreachable how do you get taken care of? Hell I'd even buy an upgraded motor if they'd get back to me. A $300 dollar mechanical toy needs to have available parts and service! Buy knowing that anything mechanical will eventually fail and expect that to be the end of your investment. ... show more

I rarely write reviews, and when I do it's more of a buyer beware one. But, I would be doing you an injustice were I not to say GET THIS NOW!!! Trust me, one of the best purchases of your lifetime! Before I knew it 4 hours had passed and I had to force myself to stop. The manual does warn against use over 30 minutes and the possibility of overheating, but I placed a fan a few inches from the motor to troubleshoot that and it performed flawlessly. There is an extension bar available as an added option, which I wish I had gotten. Ordered now, and I suggest you do the same. Having to be damn near on top of the machine is not always ideal. You will spend some time, as I did in MacGyver mode trying to nail angles and base security, but trust me, you'll find your groove. And once you do you may never leave the house again........you're welcome! ... show more

Motor was much less powerful than expected, a bit of a pain to position, feet aren't rubberized so it will slide around if it meets moderate resistance, and on my particular one, over half the stroke depth settings are unusable as the lock-nut at the end of the adjustment bolt freely spins in the rotator slot past a certain point, making it impossible to tighten down. I bought this machine and I used it twice just to find out that the thing is incompatible with any of the furniture I own. Sure it's adjustable but any setting above 30 and the whole machine starts moving around. So frustrating. Not to mention, seconds before I wrote this review, I saw that hismith is selling an adjustable table for it, for once again, over $200. plus the thing is on wheels. The concept is awesome. Update: Hismith contacted me and researched several possible solutions until all were ruled out. Hismith replaced the malfunctioning unit. I was very pleased with service and support from Hismith. Previous review: On the 5th time the electric motor shorted out. Very disappointed. This product and accessories totaled about $500.
