Metal and works as intended. 5 stars. Be aware!!! Adapter size issues. This is getting a lot of negative reviews because people (including myself) were unaware that it’s not a universal adapter. I have an original F’light model, which is not compatible with this adaptor. I was unaware that F’lights came in different sizes. As does this adapter. On Hismith’s site there is a 2.16 and a 2.36. I believe this is the 2.16 inch model. Regardless, THIS adapter is for the “Go” series, which is F’lights travel model for which this adapter was intended. Also, make sure if it is for a “Go” series which is a threaded toy, you get the threaded adapter. Its a selection before add into the cart. Summary The adapter’s name tells you for which toy its for. Fits perfectly. If you have the fleshlight Go I would highly recommend. Does not fit for standard fleshlight, only smaller version such as fleshlight Go surge.

The threads stripped out on this on first use. I ended up having to use in weld to fix it. Steel bolt into aluminum threads. Really needed to have a thread insert or just more material around the threads.

Most of the negative reviews for this item are from people who are disappointed this doesn't work with everything, which is an unrealistic expectation. It works perfectly for me. Just be sure you have an older version of Fleshlight with the narrower frame, or one of Hismith's male products.
