  • Saved Me More Than A $100
This is an exact replacement for the OEM carburetor that was for my Honda engine on a Homelite power washer. Installation was straight forward and it included all the gaskets, fuel line and filter, spark plug and air filter. There are no instructions so if you aren't comfortable watch YouTube videos. Thought there maybe some adjustments to be done after install but everything started up and has worked perfectly. I also bought another carburetor kit for my Echo weed whacker and all worked perfectly. ... show more

  • Great tune up kit
This carburetor works great! Much easier to replace than to repair. Not all parts were needed. Some are for the Lawnmower version (I installed on.power washer) but the Important parts were excellent. Highly recommended if you need this. Spark plug, gaskets, carb, fuel and air filter made for a great tune up ... show more

  • Truly a plug and play fix
This carburetor was exactly what I needed to fix my Honda lawn mower. It truly was a plug and play fix! I was able to find a video on YouTube on how to put everything back together. The video helped because it showed the proper way to sequentially put together and hold the parts. This definitely saved me some cash on labor and I’ve got some extra parts as part of the kit which I can use in the future if something goes bad. ... show more

  • Lack of quality and incorrect parts interchange description leading to frustration.....
Seemed like a good buy. No the only option on Amazon for my needs but this seemed to have more/better reviews. I was replacing the carburetor on my Ryobi 3200 PSI pressure washer equipped with a Honda GCV190LA engine. I had looked up the part in the Honda manual and the listing here showed the product was compatible. Good to go, right? Well, if it is too good to be true maybe it is. Let me tell you about my experience. Received in 2 days as promised, Amazon never seems to disappoint with speed of delivery. I opened it up and it was packaged well. Bubble wrapped well and boxed up the carburetor. Inspected the parts briefly and all looked new and of decent quality. (Shame on me for not giving a better look!) Work finished up so I headed to the garage to get the swap done on my pressure washer. Pulled 2 bolts, fuel line etc. and the old one was off in 5 minutes with the removal of 2 10mm bolts. Comparing the old to the new they seemed very similar but the carburetor choke was different. The one I received had a return spring instead of a detent like the one I removed. After removing the return spring I determined this would still work with my application. Installation of the replacement carburetor was a breeze. Included gaskets all fit and things went back together in short order. My $25 investment and 20 minutes or work were looking good. Turned the fuel valve open, waited a second, closed the choke and gave it a pull. Didn't expect it to start of the first pull. Gave it a second and it started right up and idled perfectly as soon as I turned the choke off. Great! Time well spent, time to put the tools away, and open a beer. I turned on my garage fan and did just that. Fortunately I didn't get too far because use of the tools was far from over. I looked over and noticed a wet spot under the pressure washer. Didn't give it much thought except is had an odd look. Not the puddle from a few drips of water from a pressure washer but the slat oil looking stain of gasoline! After putting the tools down and investigating I found I was right. A quick check and it was coming from the carburetor bowl. I wiped it off with a shop rag and it was wet! The carburetor is a little buried on this pressure washer so it was hard to determine where the leak was coming from for sure. I dried it and rechecked several times. As best i could tell it was coming from the bowl. I put a 10mm on the bowl retaining nut and it was very loose. Eureka, problem solved, right? Tightened it down to what I thought was reasonable. Dried it and, my mistake, started putting the tools away. Fast forward 180 seconds. Fresh puddle of fuel under the pressure washer. Quick check and the carburetor is still leaking from the bowl. Tightened a little more. Dried, waited, checked, still leaking but a little less. Tried to tighten a little more but way beyond what would be necessary. Still leaking. At this point I decided to abandon the new carburetor. Maybe i can get the old one cleaned out and make it work. Dove in and disassembled. Found a ton of deposits! Took my time cleaning it out. Got some fine wire strands and cleaned out all of the orifices, disassembled the old one down to every last part. Finally got to cleaning out the bowl last as it has a ton of deposits. At this point I have had 1/2 a beer but between the gas fumes and choke cleaner used to clean this up I am not 100%! I get a little aggressive cleaning out the bowl. Well I break the gasket that is still attached to the bowl. DONE FOR THE NIGHT, RIGHT? I look back at the dripping new carburetor and say to myself "Maybe I can salvage the gasket from it?" Pull off the new, leaking mess of a carburetor. I take a close look at it and see the issue. The bowl is cocked and clearly wasn't installed correctly when it was assembled. I take the bowl off and find an o-ring. Not the same design as the old carburetor I just spent an hour cleaning up. Darn, well maybe I can get the new one to seal up? I check out the o-ring, the bowl and the body. Seems the o-ring was a little deformed from sitting in a box for who know how long but maybe it will work. I get the o-ring back in place, I center the bowl and tighten down to the body. Looks good, might hold but let's test and see. I didn't bother with the full assembly of the pressure washer as I was getting tired of this game. Put it in place just resting on the bolts with the fuel line connected and opened the fuel valve. I waited. I checked it after a few minutes and it was dry. I waited a little longer. I checked again and it was dry! Looks like the issue is resolved. I remove the carburetor and reassemble with the new-reused gaskets. At this point my garage smells like someone dumped a gallon of gasoline on the floor. The shop fan was helping but had to gather up all of the soaked rags etc. After getting it all together I opened the fuel line back up. Didn't bother with the choke. And it started on the second pull. Idled perfectly and revved up just fine when I pulled the linkage. Time to put the tools away, right? No, I played that game too many times as well. Hooked up the hose. Ran it for a while. Washed all of the bugs off the front of a few cars and the pressure washer was working like a champ! Brought it back to the garage and the gasoline fumes had dissipated. Decided to give the unit a good once over before I dared to put the tools away. No leaks. Everything seemed fine. Put the hoses away, put away the tools and decided I was done for the evening...... 3 hours later. In summary, product was not a clear like kind replacement. The choke works, but not as designed. There may be issues later. The product assembly and quality control were questionable. I am surprised I missed it on the initial assembly but the bowl was clearly not installed correctly. Lesson learned! I did not bother to install the included spark plug or fuel filters. Decided I didn't want any other issues. The air filter fit and installed without any issue. Would I recommend this product? No. Especially to anyone with a short temper! Did I get it to work? Yes, but what should have been a 20 minute investment became 180+ minutes. Hope the repair lasts. Time will tell. Unfortunately now every time I go to my garage I will be looking for a fuel puddle under my pressure washer. I am not holding my breath! (Except to get past the gas fumes!) ... show more
