My choosy 16 years old kitty dislike it. Moreover, she was mad and required Kidney Care from Hills. Which is run by prescription only, not available in the Petsmart or on Amazon. She eats this one and only this one Hills Science Diet Senior 7+ chicken entree. So what you say? Well for a rescued cat who was clearly hungry and refuses multiple brands, flavors and textures and preferred a 'churu' style of feeding, this is nothing short of miraculous. It was so bad I was putting wet food into 'churu' tubes to get something into her, She did pick at Gerber's Chicken and gravy, but not enough to continue buying it. My local food pantry was giving away pet food so I took 2 cans of this pate textured (it's not really minced) chicken food and WOW. It smells like there may be liver mixed in as well, but whatever is in there, Cat gets it for breakfast!! Highly recommended brand. ... show more

This food was prescribed by my vet. My cat is usually stubborn when it comes to transitioning foods but she transitioned quickly with this one so I feel like that’s a good sign she likes it and it’s quality. My cat was sick before but has been much better since the switch.

She leads me to her bowl three times a day and devours her food. Pi was on dry food then throwing it up, tried this Science Diet food and Pi eats like she has not eaten for a month and never throws up. She is about 11 years old.
