I ended up returning this, but would still recommend it if it suits your needs. The good: +Looks nice (especially in blue) +Provides good protection +Ring kickstand is sturdy and very useful +Protects both the bottom and side USB-C ports The untested: ?I don't have any MagSafe-compatible items, so I couldn't test out the magnets on the case The bad: -The ring covers part of the AniMe Vision screen on the back of the ROG Phone 8 Pro. -The AeroActive Cooler cannot be used with this case. -The flap over the bottom USB-C port makes it impossible to use the case with the ROG Tessen controller (or other similar mobile controllers, like Backbone or GameSir). The third was the biggest issue for me, as I regularly use a controller. So, I returned it. If those aren't issued for you, I'd recommend this case. ... show more

Case protection is way better than the one the phone came with. However the ring that flips out to hold the phone or use it as a stand broke less than a month in which is pretty disappointing. It doesn't have and retention anymore and if I tip the phone it flops down and just swings. I would have preferred they didn't add the crappy metal piece at all if they were going to make it this low quality. The media could not be loaded. The only part that is magnetic is the spinning metal ring. The big metal circle in the center is non magnetic. So even if I bought a new magnetic holder, it would still spin freely on it. Wireless charging does not work well enough through it for them to advertise it as such. The metal ring stays out too far and will not go back in flush. When connected to magsafe that I bought specifically for this case. It will not charge and flaps around. ... show more
