UPDATE 2/22/2021: I still love these shoes and wanted to post an update - a first for me. They are still going strong and are pretty much my daily shoe now. Between my job as a wilderness guide and my frequent hikes on my off time, I have easily put hundreds of miles on these shoes. Aside from an abrasion on the upper mesh of the left shoe, caused by some rough terrain, they still look fantastic. The soles have some wear, but it's barely noticeable and I am incredibly impressed. Frankly, the only complaint I have is that I can't seem to find them in the same size and color that I originally ordered them in, which to me just isn't that big of a deal and obviously doesn't reflect on the quality of the product. I still stand by my original review. These are excellent and I WILL be buying more of them. ••• ORIGINAL REVIEW (posted about 4 months after purchase): I love these shoes. I work as a wilderness guide so I'm in boots most of the day. In camp I used to wear Chacos, but I hated lugging them around so I wanted something light AND comfortable to replace them. Hiitave absolutely NAILED IT with these shoes! They fit well, protect the bottoms of my feet, and are very comfortable. Plus, they let my feet breathe so they aren't too stinky (BIG plus, trust me). On top of that, they dry pretty darn quickly, which is always nice. I rarely post reviews, let alone for footwear, and yet I felt compelled to express my feelings about these.     • Get a size larger than your actual size
I wear a size 12 and purchased 2 pairs of these Hitave water shoes about a year ago... Both pair fit me great, were well made and I didnt have any issues at all, The fit was great and they were very comfortable for me. Just recently I purchased another pair of these shoes in the exact same size (12) as before but noticed my toes were hitting the top end of the shoe. They had actually sent me a (Euro size) 45 which If converted to US standards it was actually a size 11.5 I returned these shoes and ordered a replacement pair in the next size up (size 13) and they fit me great just like the previous 2 pairs I purchased. This is why I am saying you might need to go up to the next size from what you actually wear. ... show more

    • Affordable but fill with sand
I bought these shoes and used them for two weeks at the beach. I walked on the beach in them, on the sand, almost every day. First of all, they’re affordable— the price is nice. The sole is made of a hard but flexible rubber, which seems pretty durable. The insole is removable and not durable; after only two weeks of wear the insoles are starting to come apart. But, you can replace them with a better insole if you want. The upper of the shoe is soft and well ventilated. After two weeks, it’s still attached to the sole with no signs of coming apart. The shoelace is easy to pull tighter and secure, though it’s a bit long: you have to wrap it around and around to keep the excess end from flapping while you walk. The sole of the shoe has six ventilation holes. These holes permit beach sand to get into the shoe from the bottom, in between cloth bottom of the shoe and the rubber outsole. It’s annoying, because when you take off the shoes, it takes a lot of shaking and dumping to get all the sand out. I would recommend wearing socks even if you’re walking on the beach. Sand got into the shoes and ground against my toes, causing two of them to bleed. Overall, this shoe is really not bad, given the low price. ... show more
