The design is really adorable, but... In my opinion, the upper section of the product may not be as durable and may be more appropriate for use by children who are one year old or younger. Additionally, the foam from the extension seems to be of lower quality, as it appeared too flat. My son loves giraffes so this was a no-brainer for Christmas. It is best suited to be leaning against something (wall, shelf, sofa) - the back is not very supporting. However it seems comfy as he sits in it for hours and has napped in it when laying down. Great gift, with minimal drawbacks.
