I absolutely love these shorts. I got the size XXL 8 inch length. I’m 184 pounds/6 months pregnant. The reason I got these: I was thrifting a while back, and I found a pair that were exactly like this, and I have struggled to find another pair online that matched the pair that I had originally thrifted from the thrift store. This is the closest thing I could find to it, I am six months pregnant and I wanted some thing that was comfortable, but not necessarily specifically made for maternity. It stretches perfectly over my belly without feeling tight but also doesn’t fall down or sag or is oddly loose around the crotch area. I had read some other reviews that the black color for some reason left dye issues on furniture. I have yet to have that issue. I washed the shorts before I wore them with a load that had other clothes in them and everything seems fine so far. I’ve worn them 3 times now and they are very comfy. The fabric is pretty thin and breathable doesn’t cause me to sweat the same way biker short sports material usually does. These are great to sleep in or to lounging or to even throw under a dress to keep your thighs from chafing. ... show more

I ordered these in the 5” inseam first and loved them immediately, but over time I did find that they loosen up throughout the day and the legs start to roll up as you walk. I know I saw some other reviewers experienced that as well. If I’m going for a walk, I can’t wear the 5” ones without having to fix them every quarter mile or so. I still love the 5” length for wearing around the house and wearing under dresses to prevent chaffing. The 5” are also a little too short for me to wear with an oversized tee (especially when they roll up) and can make it look like I’m not wearing pants 😂 So I had to order the 8” length to start wearing when I go out on my walks or run errands. The 8” are LONG and almost go to my knee, but I can scrunch them up a bit to a 6-7” length and find that to be the perfect spot where they won’t roll. They’re great and look perfect with an oversized tee! Still short enough that I can wear them under most dresses too. The material is soft, stretchy and very comfortable. I wear a size 12-14 in jeans and find L-XL to be the perfect size. I can’t say they’re the most high quality clothing item I own, but there’s no major issues with the stitching and I’ve worn and washed my 5” ones many times without any holes developing.
