Note: the G2 paint has a shelf life so don't purchase and store more than 6 months. My activator got funky after a year and had to be replaced. Epoxy painting of my 2020 RX450h FSport Calipers. The caliper assembly and pads and clips were removed from the mounting bracket. Caliper and brackets forging flash was ground away prior to final cleaning and painting. The yellow epoxy took 4 coats to get the finish as shown below. I would put on 5 coats if I did it again in yellow. Paint was (2) pkg. of G2 High Temperature Caliper Paint G2161 purchased thru amazon. Paint cured for a full week prior to high temp labels, per note on label instructions. Labels came curved from ebay seller "cardecals64" mix and match order. Wheels reinstalled for a week and driven prior to label installation. Labels are a little tough to peal during application but I got the hang of it after 1-2 labels. Material approx cost $200-250. Still holding up well after 45 days and several car washes.

Works great. Epoxy base paint that flows really well. Turned out great. I bought a few extra high quality paint brushes as per other reviews. I recommend doing that. The one brush I used from the kit was a very small brush to get into small spots---worked good. Lots of paint so no need to worry. I did all 4 calipers 3 times. Don't worry about the time limit. I waited over night to give it the last touch up---I did not remove the caliper from the car.

Man listen. This product was great. No issues at all. Just follow the directions. Maybe took about 2 1/2 - 3 hours to get the job done. Did 3 coats on each caliper and had a lot left over. I put my decals on about hour after I was done to get a good stick. Put my wheels back on after 2 hours. I let it sit in the garage a little over 24 hours. THEN, I drove to work the next day. After work, took my baby to the car wash and got her looking sexy lol. Overall, this is the exact look I wanted.

The paint brushes start leaving hairs behind after a few coats. have an extra set of fresh brushes to do final touch ups. But overall, everything turned out great and would definitely buy this product again. I went with hawkins blue

This stuff works amazing. I found it much easier to just brush the paint on. You get plenty, although it doesn’t look like enough. I used two coats and the self leveler gives it a glass like appearance. I used a better quality brush since the one that comes with it loses hairs as you brush it. I’m getting more for all my cars. Hell it works so good I may paint my dogs paws as well. Super impressed.

This was easy to apply, but the bristles from the provided brush come off in the paint while applying so I kept having to pick them out. For the price, you'd think they'd include a better brush. Definitely purchase a better quality brush before you start. Otherwise, it looks great and is holding up well.
