I use a couple of my own touch up guns at work instead of the inferior employer provided ones. Before this my favorite gun had been the 2.0mL nozzle PNTGreen paintgun. I still love that gun because it is definitely the best value for around 27$. I have tried other guns on Amazon and while some are good they don't typically stand the 4 month test of being used every day. i had a cheaper gun that was the same design as this one and while it did work well, quickly the lock studs inside the gun started to break off and I was forced to duct tape it for a while before eventually throwing it away due to the high cost of using 5 feet of duct tape every single day. This one is the same design as that gun with the twist top can, but this seems to be 3x as durable with giant locking studs in the can that lock super tight and I think this gun will last for as long as I have this job. Most importantly with that 3.0 mm nozsle, it makes giant clouds of paint up to 10 feet away and can leave everything dripping like a fire hose if that's what you are looking for. I recommend anyone get this gun and don;t worry about the price.. I will continue using this as my main gun and use the 27$ PNTGreen ones as my secondary gun(s). Update: Many months later this still works incredibly well. Every day I leave it soaking in petroleum distillate solvents (we call it line flush at my job), and with the metal parts it is still as good as new while my plastic PNT gun has eroded and its once fine black color has turned to grey and am experiencing leaking issues. This metal gun isn't phased by leaving in solvent even 6 months later.

I was looking at the Airless Sprayers, but I already have several HVLP, but these didn't work too well with Latex paint. I thought I would give this a try and it works fine. For one thing its not a Cheap Chinese tool, its actually Japanese made, all metal no plastic anywhere. Setup was easy, similar to setting up an HVLP. Pressure does need to be set at about 45psi, but at the gun, with trigger pulled, its around 35psi. I did have some minor clogs, but was easily cleaned off by wiping the tip. The Paint I used was the Kilz 2 Primer (diluted 20% with water), and the same with exterior Latex paint. I currently use an 80 gallon Compressor, but I'm sure it can be used on smaller ones. Cleanup with water was easy, and it really needs to be cleaned after every use. I also recommend the 3.0 Nozzle with any thick paint or primer.

Love the gun. Just a little water in really thick primer and it sprays great. Love that you can use up to 90psi. Sprayed all day and no problems once you get it adjusted right. I would suggest you make sure you assemble it with the suction tube in the cup toward which way you will be spraying/ tilting. It has a tiny hole on the top of the cup lid that goes in the opposite direction. For air to come in. Paint will spill out of it if you put it in the direction your tilting. Kind of hard to explain. But it will make sense once you use it. Great price too!!! Would definitely recommend.

I just received this item, and right out of the box, I was impressed with the quality. All metal components, 3 different adjustment knobs and easy assembly of the the cup to the gun. It came with 2 couplers for the air hose, both 1/4 and 3/8. A lot of tools don't even have that. I assembled it and poured the paint in and was ready to go.... Now to the good stuff....the painting. Absolutely beautiful execution. Very nice and even dispersion. The 3 adjustible valves are wonderful, AND METAL. No cheap plastic here. There is a valve to raise and lower the psi, which is wonderful if you, like me, have a subpar air compressor that has to be turned up to 110 psi just to get a consistent 40 psi air flow. There is a valve to adjust the paint/air ratio, so you can find the sweet spot to get the right consistency of your paint if you like to dilute it. The 3rd valve is to adjist your spray fan pattern. Very easy to use. Ot comes with an all in one tool to dissassemble all necessary components for cleaning, and even comes with a good size quality brush to get all of the nooks and crannys cleaned. I would give this product 10 stars if I could

I bought this to spray bonding primer (which is the same as latex paint) because it cannot be thinned. This gun wouldn't even siphon the paint up the tube no matter how much PSI you put to it or how you adjusted it. Didn't even clean it before I threw it in the trash can. . .

I used this to spray a small room and some furniture, and i'm getting some super solid results with Benjamin Moore Auro paints. I diluted about 15% water to get the viscosity up, and it's been a solid performer. Can be a little trick to dial in, as the factory settings didn't want to paint very well, but once I get it dialed after 10 minutes of playing around, it just worked, and worked well. Laid down a consistent stream, and was easy to work with. I dialed up the pressure a little bit on my compressor, and then used this to dial it back. I'm not using a pancake, but this gun handled the pressure no problem. I'm impressed, especially for the money. Good solid paint gun. Comes with a toothbrush to clean it, and easily disassembles. I don't know what else you would want for the price, but I'm a happy customer.
