My infant absolutely loves this! She has looked at it since she was a newborn and still looks at it at 3 months old. I did cut the ribbons off because they just got in the way and seemed pointless. It is able to stand up on its own. We like to have her look at it in the bassinet and during tummy time. She has started to grab for things and like the crinkly sound it makes.

We have a daughter that’s almost two months old so we’ve started showing her high contrast books. She has always been very alert and attentive, but when we put this boom in front of her she LOCKED ON. I’ve never seen her so focused in on something like this book yet. This little book type toy is so cute! The contrast is great and the pictures are adorable! I love all the options for a sweet little baby to choose from. There’s so much to keep them entertained. My little one seems to like this foldable little book. He pays attention and stares at the pictures, but after awhile moves on to something else. The 'book' is soft and cute, it would make a wonderful gift for a new mom or newborn.

I got this for my newborn daughter to make tummy time a little more interesting for her. It folds to be very compact so it is great to leave in the diaper bag as well for on the go or travel. It has two ties to attach to things which I have not used.
