Fits exactly where i needed it to go! Perfect. I find it very comfortable as it is, without augmentations (except extra pillows to lean on arms). Seller very helpful when one arm arrived damaged, and sent me a new one promptly. **Assembly Tips**: Count all parts and sort into groups by letter. On arms--before assembling-- test the tiny legs that stick out which attach to main frame to make sure they go through proper range of motion before assembling---they should be able to lie perfectly flat as well as fold all the way in against main arm piece. (Its useful to do this before assembling b/c thats where my defect was---one of the little things wouldn't straighten out all the way, which meant the affected arm would never lie flat in bed mode. And it sucks to have something sitting around half put together.) Put on legs with main frame bed upside down and hand tighten. then flip over to standing position and tighten all the way with hex wrench. Then put on back, then arms. Voila. Re Flattening Arms for bed mode: When arms are upright, push them as if to make them a little more upright-- this releases the locking mechanism, then move them to flat position--otherwise they won't come down flat. This is probably an intentional design feature to keep them from flopping down when you don't want them to.

It came in two separate shipments: one with the cushions and mattress, and the other with the metal frame that was fairly easy to put together by myself. I've fallen asleep on it a couple times with the arms down and it's decent enough, but I usually keep the arms up (loud clanks required to adjust it, but it's pretty sturdy) and I sit on it everyday with confidence in its integrity. So far I am very happy with it especially since the cost was so low. It's quite comfortable for me - I don't feel the bars at all like some of these reviews. On the first day, there was a chemical-like smell ti the mattress, but after Febreze and a few hours, it was gone.

Aside from the long wait time to receive the item things are good. Product was easy to assemble, i didn't find the directions until after I finished because they were printed on the back side of a paper and I didn't notice it. I use it pretty much every day while on the computer and put it down to watch movies. It's fairly comfortable, me and my chihuahua can sit or nap on it easily and if you raise the arms one or 2 clicks when its in the bed positions its really comfortable. I did put an additional foam mat underneath the mattress when i assembled after reading a customer review that suggested it.

I didn't realize this when I ordered it, or even for a while (clearly) after I received it... I bought this back in 2017 and it's been great and even held up in a move to another state... The dogs are always on it and sometimes playing on it so it's definitely held up - the only downfall is that you cannot unzip the cover and wash it. It's filled with some kind of cotton/wool type of blend and is just in there, no fabric holding it away from the cover. I gave it three stars simply because of this... how am I supposed to wash this? I suppose I can use a handheld cleaner, but then the liquid is soaking into the inner filling. Definitely wouldn't have purchased had I known this as I would've much more preferred something I could take the cover off it. Not entirely sure why this thing has zippers since you can't wash it.

I got the posh blue. This is very comfortable as bed and a couch -the adjustable sides work very well and were one of the reasons I bought it (they work on ratchets). The only reason that I didn't give this 5-stars was because one of pins that attach an arm to the frame didn't quite align with the bottom frame (~3mmm) so I had to use some additional tools (hammer) to get it to go in so that I could screw it in securely. If not for that hiccup, it would have taken me only about 30 minutes to unpack and put together using just the allen wrench and flat wrench provided.

This is a superb little futon, perfect for small spaces. The fabric quality and steel framework are well-made. Everything went together without a hitch. One caveat for short persons: because it doubles as a single bed, the sitting depth might seem a tad deep for normal sitting. But that invites curling up in the cushions, and we'll probably end up having an ottoman around anyway. We did have a small mix-up with the fabric choice - when the cushion arrived, they had sent gray instead of blue, but the seller was so courteous, admitted the mistake at their end, and had another cushion on its way by the next day. The blue fabric turned out to be a lush color, very rich looking without being overly dark. So pleased with the quality of customer care and speedy turnaround time.

I really like this futon. I am redesigning a spare room into a video game room for all of my gaming stuff and I didn't want something huge, but that did allow me to lie down and sleep (my hubby snores a lot) when I need to. The only drawback I can see for myself is that it isn't quite as soft as I would like it, however that is easily remedied and I expected this to be the case based on other reviewers. The color is spot on in the picture and it is easy to put together (you don't really need instructions beyond the images that are supplied) and easy to lie down and put back up.
