Really happy with this purchase. I needed a comforter that my new pug puppy couldn't pick and scratch at. I am a super hot sleeper and my partner is a super cold sleeper, and this comforter is a really good in-between for us. It's thin enough that I don't wake up drenched in sweat even on hot nights but it's thick/fluffy enough that my partner can burrito himself under the covers for maximum warmth. The other big selling point for me is the size. I ordered the oversized king, and it's definitely bigger than any other king bedspread I've had. There's a good 16 inches/14 cm overhang on both sides of our tall king mattress AFTER we get in bed. This allows my partner to roll himself up in the blanket (see burrito reference above) with plenty of blanket left for me. It's on the thinner side for down-alternative comforters, but thicker than a coverlet. It's comparable to bedspreads from places like Target and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It has a nice fluffiness to it straight out of the vacuum-sealed bag. It's not the fanciest looking comforter but it meets our functional needs so I don't mind how plain it is. I added a few decorative pillows and throw blankets to dress it up a bit and it looks fine. It's held up well to our puppy too. There's no texture so there's nothing for her to snag her claws on. I've had to spot treat a few places already because of our dog, and it cleaned up perfectly with no lingering stains or color changes. ... show more
