This bed works perfect for my toddler. He likes sleeping in it, it wasn’t a hassle for me to try to transition him (he’s 2 years old). The mattress and surrounding piece inflated within minutes with the pump that came with the product. It was super easy to set up and deflate. Worked with regular crib/toddler bed sheets. I laid on it myself (with him), for story time and it held up. I felt like I could have slept on it, it was pretty comfy. I didn’t want to knock any stars off for this because I love the product, but it is a bit heavy, so something I have to keep in mind when I’m packing my luggage.

We did an extensive search for the best travel toddler bed. We were about to purchase a foldable travel cot when we realized that wouldn’t be safe since our toddler tends to stand on her bed every now and then. We settled on an inflatable but were dreading the purchase due to weight limits, the fact that they often spring leaks that aren’t covered through warranty, and would likely only last one trip if it even made it through the trip. Just before we made the purchase this bed popped up in the recommendations. The weight limit stood out because our toddler will only fall asleep in her bed if one of us lays next to her, no other mattress met that need. I’m glad to say we have successfully put her to sleep on this mattress several times without fail. It’s comfy and a wonderful size as it will grow with her for a few years. Even our 9 year old fits on it and if they had bigger sizes I would have bought her one for camping. We also love that this bed was designed with younger toddlers in mind. Most air mattresses were rated for 2 yr olds and up. Our daughter was 18 months when we purchased this and hit all the safety measures we needed. We haven’t taken it camping yet but we have no doubt it will work great in our tent. The mattress has held up well in hotels. It doesn’t take up too much space and can easily be sat up against a wall to clear the walkway. It does take more time to inflate than others but wouldn’t be too difficult to deflate and re-inflate daily if needed. It’s very durable, as my children have played with their toys on the bed, flopped on it, or took a dive into the bed for the night and it’s held air well. We’ve probably gone a month with it inflated without having to add air since our toddler loves to use it at home as well. We haven’t had the pleasure of utilizing customer service yet but they have a strong following of customers who have successfully, which is one of the main reasons we chose this product over others. You just can’t go wrong with a company that stands behind its product. That alone made it worth the investment for us. Overall, our family loves this mattress and we highly recommend it. We’re so happy we spent the extra money for this one instead of the cheaper brands.

Excellent air mattress for my 4 year old. He absolutely loves it on our trips and even wants to use it when at the house. Very good quality and very easy to setup and put away, takes a few minutes to do both. Easy storage that fits in the closet nicely.

Update two years later: After using and probably abusing this mattress (as toddler do), it finally bit the dust after many hotels, camping in tents and cousin sleepovers. I kept forgetting to replace it. Once I finally did reach out to hiccapop customer service, they responded quickly and told me what they needed from me. I emailed the info back and poof! They shipped off my replacement piece! Somehow mine got lost in the mail and as soon as I reached out and brought it to their attention, they shipped off another replacement right away. When I first purchased this, my husband asked if it was really necessary considering the price and that there are others out there that are cheaper. Not only did he tell me later that it was a good call as he could see it was good quality, but this warranty experience has made us Hiccapop customers for life! We own the hiccapop travel high chair as well and we have really grown to trust this brand. This warranty experience has sealed the deal. If you’re wondering which toddler travel bed to choose, this is the one you’re looking for and the lifetime warranty is exactly what it says it is. The pictures and following paragraphs in this review are from when we first purchased it. The baby in that bed in now 4 1/2 and quite a tall 4 year old. He still fits on this toddler mattress and sleeps comfortably on it. I’ve noticed that other brands like slumberpod are now selling similar inflatable toddle mattresses. This one still takes the cake IMO because the 4 raised sides do not have gaps in them like newer models, aren’t bulky raised edges and go all the way around, unlike other brands. Plus, that lifetime warranty that no one else offers. See my previous review below for the rest of the pros that still hold true over time. ◡̈ • • First off, high five to Amazon for getting this puppy delivered to me two days early. We started construction today in my kids rooms, so everyone is sleeping with mom, even for nap time. This arrived just in time for nap time and it did not disappoint! Pros: 1. The vinyl is a thicker grade in comparison to other toddler and kids inflatable mattresses I’ve purchased over the years. 2. Easy to inflate. The mattress part wasn’t inflating at first and I realized the rubber stop on the inside was just tight. I lifted the seal around the edges to make sure it wasn’t sticking and hiccapop customer service suggested to clean under the seal with a wipe to keep it from sticking. It inflated slower than the frame, but just fine after that. 3. My toddler immediately started jumping on it and just by watching him I could see this thing was made to take a beating from kids bouncing. 4. This is at least 8-10 inches longer than our pack-n-play that I had setup for my toddler to use for his nap today. When I laid him in it, he was literally the length of the pack-n-play, head touching the top and feet touching the bottom. Then Amazon sent me a notification that this toddler bed had been delivered at my door. Talk about perfect timing! He is two and almost 5 months and taller than most his age. So if you’re on the fence about using your pack-n-play longer and you have a taller toddler, come to this side of the fence. 5. It fit perfectly with the slumber pod I also bought. The soft, stretchy fabric on that plus the open base was easy to stretch over this toddler bed without compromising the bed or the slumber pod. 6. The lifetime warranty was a HUGE attraction for me as we have gone through so many kids air mattresses. 5. The railing on this was higher than I expected. With that plus the length, I could easily curl up and snuggle with him on the bed if I wanted like I do in his crib sometimes. 6. Crib mattress sheets fit perfectly on it. Cons: 1. Besides the price tag, I’ll let you know if there are any. ◡̈
