Very happy with the look and and color, made with thick material that blacks out light and the tie backs are useful, you can tie them from the back so you don't see any tie in the front. I think that looks even more elegant and classy. They are a little wrinkly but I can steam them when I get time. I would definitely recommend. I even order another matching set for my bedroom!

These curtains are well made and they do lock out the light. My window faces east and these curtains did block the sunlight. You can tell the sun came up but the room remains darkened enough. The only thing is that they have a strong chemical smell at first, but give it a day or two and the smell dissipates. If possible, hang them outside for a few hours and the smell will go away.

Beautiful quality, would just say the ivory colour was a bit darker than I anticipated. Luckily it goes well with my apartment. Love the ties, really beautiful, would recommend steaming them so there’s no wrinkles but I’m lazy.

I was looking for blackout curtains because I have an obnoxiously bright motion-sensor light directly outside my bedroom window that shines right into my room all night, and since I rent, there's really nothing I can do about the light. These curtains aren't 100% blackout, as the website description or video would have you believe. I can still see the outside light through the curtain, albeit it's not nearly as bad as without the curtains, so I'll take it. I will say that as far as sunlight and any other indirect light that might shine through the window (if the curtains are closed) they do completely darken the room, but given that I purchased them specifically to block this one light, and they don't block it out completely, I felt that I couldn't give them a 5-star rating. I did purchase the mustard yellow curtains because I liked the color best for the decor in my room, so I wonder if a darker color would have better blackout capabilities. Their website description didn't say anything about the color affecting the blackout effects, though, which is why I felt comfortable in choosing the yellow -- because I did come across other blackout curtain options in my search that did specify on their website descriptions that the lighter colors might not be as effective as the darker colors at producing a full blackout effect. In any case, I decided to keep them because although they're not 100% blackout, as advertised, they're better than not having the curtains at all, and they were the only brand I could find that had the exact measurement I needed for the panels. The product description also states that these blackout curtains help reduce noise and keep out "the chill in the winter." I can't say I've noticed any improvement in keeping the cold out and certainly not in noise reduction, so I wouldn't purchase these curtains if noise and temperature control are more important to you than the blackout effect.
