I received my shoes while I was at home and when I slipped them on, the first thing I noticed about these Hey Dude shoes was how well they gripped my ceramic tile floor. On the description page: “HEYDUDE Work CE meets or exceeds ASTM F2913-19 standards and EN ISO 20347:2022+A1:2024 OB SR certifications, ensuring superior protection, slip resistance, and reliable performance in demanding work environments.” I took a moment to look up these standards and without getting too technical, these are optional requirements for occupational footwear which includes mechanical risks, slip resistance, thermal risks, ergonomic properties and specifically defines how they are tested. The additional letters at the end indicate: OB=Occupational Basic which means no toe protection i.e. no steel toe area. While SR indicates additional slip resistance is beyond the mandatory basic slip resistance. They have to grip on a ceramic tile floor with glycerine on it in testing! No wonder these shoes grip so well. I bought the Classic Leather Black style as they have a smooth surface making them easy to clean. These shoes are right at home working in a kitchen or other messy environment. The insole is lightly tacked down at the heel, but will pull out for cleaning. They are comfortable and provide decent support.

So, I wear shoes barefoot. These fit me a little snug on the width. I am able wide foot so of a wide is available, get that if you need it. With that said, the shoe is very comfortable. I love the back padding around the heel area. I get blisters in this exact spot and the padding here is very thoughtful and soft. The slip resistant tread has worked for me so far 🤞. The shoe is overall comfortable. It feels like it's very well made. This is my first pair of hey dudes. I would definitely get them again. Next time I would order a half size/size up for myself. I'm usually around a 9 barefoot. The shoes are super light, won't wear my dogs out too fast. The black color is like any good work shoe and cleans off easily. I tried removing the inner sole to add more room for my awkward feet, the inner lining is glued in nicely, I didn't try too hard to fight it. I didn't want to damage a nice shoe. I dont know if I mentioned it, I do love the back padding around the ankle.

This is my 2nd pair of HeyDude shoes. Overall they're a great shoe! Lightweight, nice looking black loafers. Great for the office! However, my foot requires a little more arch support. These are a bit too 'flat' for me. Not a big deal. I'll just grab some gel inserts and I'll be good to go. But, I wish that wasn't necessary. I understand that this is partly an issue with my foot, not the shoes, but it's an issue I've not had to correct in other shoes. So, if I could give they a 4.5 star, I would. I'm still glad I found them! Thank you HeyDude!

I ordered these shoes to wear to work and they're absolutely fantastic. Our office is business casual most days; meaning we're allowed to wear polos and jeans. So these shoes match with my everyday outfit's great. But I wouldn't consider them too casual either; I think you could get away with wearing them with a pair of khakis. The quality is every bit is nice as you would expect from this brand. The sizing is close; but I'm finding it them to be a bit tight. If your foot is on the wider side, I would consider suggesting a size up. The upper material these shoes are made of are very solid. They're not the type of shoes that will "break in" or stretch out easily. But I also think that makes them sturdy and I expect them to last. There are a variety of floor surfaces throughout our building. Some can get quite slick; especially when wet. I have found these shoe's soles to be anti-slip on all of the surfaces so far.

These Hey Dude black men’s slip-on shoes are fantastic! They fit true to size and have a classic, versatile style that pairs well with just about anything. They don’t have that typical “work shoe” look—instead, they resemble loafers or boat shoes, making them great for both casual wear and more polished outfits. What really sets them apart is the strong grip on the soles. If you work around liquids, like oils in kitchens or restaurants, or anywhere you need reliable non-slip shoes, these are perfect. They provide excellent traction without sacrificing comfort or style. Highly recommend if you’re looking for shoes that are both functional and fashionable! 5 stars!

This is my first pair of Hey Dude's, my co-worker's rock them all the time and rave about the comfortability of them and they weren't wrong. The shoe's are well made, ultra light and feel like a glove around my feet. I would suggest maybe going a 1/2 size higher when selecting a pair as my toes are touching the tips of the shoe and I prefer to have a little more room in my fit. I would also suggest adding an insert if you have foot trouble. The soles are rather thin and you can feel grooves in sidewalks and rocks when walking. Not a deal breaker, just something to be cognizant of if you're on your feet a lot. Definitely an "office" type of shoe. Overall recommend though!

Work well for me. I work in food service and have worn them a few times. I can notice a difference when I wear them. They really do grip the floor a little more than my every day work shoes. I did size up from my normal 10.5 shoe size and got the 11. I am glad I did! I didnt want them to be too tight. They are lightweight! I hope they last working long hours in the kitchen.
