    • No directions for installation
As a new boat owner, I made sure that this item fit the type of motor we have but it wasn't easy to figure out how to install it or use it to hold the motor still while the boat travels on the trailer. No instructions were provided and online there weren't photos to show how to place it. Our motor doesn't have anywhere the larger piece of this wedge support can be placed so it stays in place while traveling. I am not sure what the other two foam sleeves are for either. The price seemed reasonable but since I couldn't use it, I took off two stars. It wouldn't take much for them to include some photos to show what it looks like properly installed. ... show more

Need to have my seals repaired on my trim unit but with this handy little life saver. I installed this to test it out and now I don’t take my boat anywhere without it installed. I have it holding up my Yamaha 200hp outboard and it hold it up with no problem. I really like the solid sleeve surrounding the main rubber piece, it provides even more rigidity. ... show more
