these are very light YES. but they have virtually no protection from anything falling on the feet. if you aren't worried about injuring the top of your feet then youre fine. these are great for like the beach or something similar.

I love this concept which is basically a flexible sock with a heavy duty sole. Great to slip on if you need to run outside for a few errands or for casual lounge wear. Mine arrived and I like the fun camo print. The stretch is fine and they slip on easily. The problem is that the large thick sole and heel cause your foot to slide with a forward bias. I wear a size 11 in everything and these fit except in the toe. Being pushed forward, the big toe is gouging against the front of the shoe, making it uncomfortable and annoying. Borderline unwearable. I tried it with a thick sock, a thin sock and no sock. It seems to be stretching a bit and with no sock its tolerable. But the rubbing, I fear will cause that part to wear through in a short time. I'd give it five stars if not for that small but dealbreaker feature of the fit.

The media could not be loaded. Aloha everyone. 🌺 This is Charlie and I'm reviewing these Hetios Men's Camo sock/shoes in a bright yellow. Yes, I did choose the yellow color because I'm trying to get some color into my life. 😆. I really like them for when I go walking because they're lightweight and comfortable. The upper knit material is breathable, so my feet don't get all hot and sweaty. I also wear them around the house, or for a quick trip to the mall, post office, or grocery store. These shoes do look good when I wear them with jeans, at least I think so. The ankle top just stretches so you can easily put these on and take them off again. They have a thick, but lightweight sole, that has as bit of as bounce to it. These shoes fit true to size and they are only sold in whole sizes, after size 10, so these are a size 11. I have a wide foot, size E, but because the stretch material that doesn't matter, and there's no break in period needed. There's an insole with a small arch inside the shoe, and it's also cushioning. I'm 5'9" and weigh 220, so comfortable shoes that can support my weigh do make a big difference for me, especially when I'm walking for exercise. I'm guessing, when these get dirty, I'll just regular machine wash and dry them. My only concern is that they're so stretchy, the sides don't offer much side support, like a leather/canvas lace up shoe would. I have balance problems so knowing this I just have to be careful. These may look a little different than your average slip on shoe, but boy are they ever comfortable! They are so light that it's almost like not having any shoes on. I love 'em!

Solidly built and comfy. Almost hides my short sock tan lines lol. Comes with a nice carry bag. Not slippery on concrete, hardwood floors or carpet. One star off for being a bit slippery on my synthetic grass.

The style of the HETIO’s CAMOUFLAGE MEN’S LIGHTWEIGHT BREATHABLE WALKING SHOES is a style I call “sock shoes”. The reason for this is the way the top part of the shoe is flexible and stretchy, wrapping around your ankle, without any gaps or space between the shoe and the ankle. This is much more like a sock than almost any other shoe style. My husband has a similar pair from a different maker, in black. I love those shoes on him and wanted a pair for myself. He also loves those shoes, but he is picky and conservative about colors. These HETIO SHOES are listed as men’s shoes. I have large feet for a woman, and badly broke an ankle a while ago, which is not back to normal. My ankle swells terribly, meaning I need shoes that are even bigger than I normally wear, or shoes that have some flex and stretch to them. There is no way my husband would be caught dead wearing any of the various printed colors these shoes come in. To tell you the truth, I didn’t care for most of them myself. I would have preferred basic black, or at least a solid color. But since I was most interested in the style and like the idea of the stretchy fabric supporting my ankle, very much like an ace bandage, I decided to order these for myself. I chose a mens size 10 in the least ugly pattern I could find. I love these shoes. They are like a dream for my poor ankle. They are so comfortable and supportive where I need them to be. They add about an inch to your height, and that inch is from the padding on the sole. They weigh almost nothing. I can wear them with thick or thin socks. The super stretch material accommodates both. They also go on and off a lot easier than the pair my husband has. I would sum this up by saying, “I couldn’t be happier” with these shoes, but that would be a lie . . .how about this shoe in a solid color? Then, I REALLY couldn’t be happier.
