First off, I never give five stars... that said I wore these for the first time today. The fit is good, they're comfortable and the sole gives adequate protection from sharp rocks and sticks. I walked about a 1/4 mile down a trail to the beach of the lake and had no issues. The beach is very rocky but was easy to traverse in these shoes. I returned up the same 1/4 mile trail in wet shoes and the comfort and fit was still there. Fit perfectly, were easy to put on and take off, protected my feet in rivers and lakes, and all while being very comfortable and quick drying! I love the style and color, and seems like they're well made. The price was great, too! I'm looking forward to spending a lot of water time with these shoes!

Got these for a river float and man I'm glad I had these on. These protected my feet from everything as well as giving me a ton of grip on the river bed. For being on/in the water for 5 ish hours they felt just as comfortable as when I first put them on. Had a little mishap with an ember at camp landing on the top of my foot that created a small hole but it held up like a champ for everything I did on the water so all in all pretty durable. These shoes were a great fit from the first wear. I bought them for a caving adventure in Belize and didn’t have time to try them on prior to my trip. They fit perfectly, were so comfortable providing support, good grip, and drained water easily.     • Looks can be deceiving

I purchased these with the intention of portaging a canoe. The material on ankle cuff is tight and doesn’t have much flex. More of a soft neoprene would be better. Sand gets in and rubs your ankles absolutely raw. Hot spot blisters are guaranteed!! Wear socks or something. Also! I didn’t notice until they arrived. My mistake. But if you plan to purchase these with the intention of using them on a river trip. The day a canoe pushes your toenail back, you’re going to regret not buying shoes with a higher rubber guard. I kept them and gave them a try anyway. I’ll look elsewhere when these wear out. Btw. Waterproof mesh on top and formed sole traction are great! I scored 3 stars for the reasons mentioned above. On a side note that probably can’t be fixed, but if you kneel in a canoe, the plastic shoestring lock will try its best to burrow into the top of your foot. Have been wearing them for several weeks now and well pleased. The thicker soles are an advantage for getting to and from the beach. They are easy to dry out and tight enough that sand and stones don't get in. A fine shoe for the casual sea swimmer like me.
