Works as intended. Just make sure to disconnect the wire completely because even when turned off, the dial/timer part is warm, which means its consuming electricity even when turned off. This was never an issue with other candle warmers, but I wonder if because of the timer, it "has" to stay on for some reason.

Absolutely love this lamp. Works great for candles of all sizes. Love that the temp is adjustable. I hooked mine up to a remote controlled outlet switch so I can turn it on and off when I enter and leave a room. Does get very warm so beware of hot wax. I keep it on top of a dresser but secured so the hot wax is not knocked over. Looks very nice and sleek. My candles last forever now, and smell just as strong as the first time I used the lamp. I do not like the smell of candles being blown out but I love candles so this is a great alternative. Also love that there isn’t an open flame because I have very curious cats to worry about. I would highly recommend!!

I had no idea a product like this existed until I read about it on a blog. It is fantastic! Love the idea of not having to light a candle, just let the lamp bring up the scent. Pretty disappointed in this product. I tested it on several types of candles, including Bath &Body Works 3-wicks that were not scentful when lit, BBW 3-wicks that had a small amount of wax left at the bottom, and single wicks from various artisinal brands. This lamp produced almost no throw for any of my candles. In addition, there’s a warning label on the cord saying the product contains lead and to wash your hands after touching it. Candle warmers make a lot of sense - the candle wax melts gently and evenly, and you don’t have to have an open flame in your home. Mine is in the foyer so everyone gets greeted with a nice scent. I think it looks really nice on my little table, and it’s cool that I can put it closer to walls and other objects without worrying about fire. No hassles on order/delivery, received it in factory condition on time. Thank you!
