As we all know, life is the search for the perfect purse. This is the closest I've ever got. The red color is beautiful and I love the silver hardware. The details on the short strap are really cute. It is well made- strong stitching. It has 2 interior zipper pockets and 2 slip pockets. I love that the extra zippered pocket makes a perfect slot for my phone (a lot of purses have the zippered pocket in the middle and it drives me crazy). It's just the right size for me, I can even get my tablet in when I need it. The outside pocket is not big enough for my phone but it makes a perfect spot for my keys. My only complaint is the long strap. I must be an idiot but I can't figure out how to switch straps. (My sister couldn't figure it out either.) But the short strap is adjustable too and I use it that way- in fact I love carrying it on my shoulder. I REALLY love this purse. Buy it!! ... show more

This is THE bag I've been looking for now the past 15 yrs!! It is every bit the quality of the designer brands for half the price. Best features are the pebbled leather that is more durable and more resistant to scratches and water than smooth leather, as well as the beautiful wine satin liner inside. It also has a complete top zip, ladies!! I detest the magnet closure, because with one sharp turn in the car, the contents of your purse comes spilling out. I love the design of the inside pockets with zippers and there is an exterior zip pocket perfect size for a smart phone, allowing you to go right for it and not having to dig for it. The bag is really the perfect medium size handbag with more of long vs. tall size, so if you need the room, but don't want the bulkiness of a tote, you'll love this bag! I'm actually considering ordering another, so I can have it for when the day comes it's too worn out-that may seem weird, but when you have searched for the perfect black leather handbag as long as I have, you don't take it lightly:) I wish sooo much that this bag came in a dark brown and I would scoop it up too! I just haven't really decided if the brown color they offer is too orange. Only thing that was somewhat concerning was that I had paid for 2 day shipping and although it was delivered promptly, the box was open!! However, the purse was wrapped well and unscathed, so there wasn't a problem other than my irritation with the FedEx courier who delivered it like that. Anyway, this was the best online purchase I think I've ever made, so hopefully they'll offer this in dark brown soon! ... show more

I love the shorter strap. You have the option to replace it with a crossbody strap but I like the under arm strap. Handbag is very roomy inside without being huge and feeling like I’m carrying a backpack.

Most all my bags are large and I get tired of carrying a heavy bag, so I decided to down size and I'm so glad I did. There is plenty of room for what I need and it is so cute, and classic. I am very pleased with this purse ! I read all the reviews and was mildly concerned when some said there was an uncomfortable odor that came with it. I noticed a mild, brief smell, like a disinfectant, but this disappeared the first evening, and it was replaced by the smell of leather. The purse came well packaged and complete. I like that it is fairly large and can carry all my stuff,-- with room to spare- something I was looking for to replace my current purse. The quality is excellent, it is similar to others I have but costing far more. I love the soft leather Hobo designs and this fills all my requirements perfectly !
