After scouring local shops and the Internet for months, I took the plunge and purchased this bag. I wish to say a huge "thank you" to my fellow reviewers because it was their experiences that made me take the leap and buy this baby. I am overjoyed that I did! I purchased this bag more than a month ago and waited to write my review. Initially, there was a strong chemical-like odor. I store my purse in our coat closet and the entire closet smelled. I see that others placed the purse outside in the sun to let nature reduce the scent. I was too busy and needed to use the purse right away. Within three to four days, without any effort from me, the smell went away. The stiffness of the purse is a little off-putting initially. I thought it looked like a cheap pleather knock-off: a little too shiny, a little too hard. After a bit of use, the leather softened and as a result looks much more high-end. (How rare to have a products that actually looks better over time!) I'm going to do some critical assessing here: I am not a fan of the heavy duty zipper. It's a bit clunky and doesn't glide super easily. Due to it's longer length, it can flip inside out if you are not paying attention. Was this an intentional design due to the purse's size and to prevent easy breakage? Perhaps. I'm also not super pleased with the brushed bronze color of the hardware. This is purely subjective, and possibly a more neutral choice than silver, brass, or gold metal. The bag is large, so do pay attention to the measurements provided. The adjustable strap is perfect for customizing the purse to your precise height. The colors are bright and varied. I have used this bag for more than a month and regularly recieve compliments on it. The diversity of the ladies that appreciate it is astonishing: from young, edgy, urban gals to more conservative, upper class older Mamas! The broad spectrum of women who like the bag is a testament to its versatility, yet at the very same time, this bag makes a unique statement. Truly a great bag! ... show more

This has become my go-to handbag, this Spring. I wear mainly solid colours with matching or accenting shoes. This handbag matches everything and adds a bit of pattern to my wardrobe. I was really quite surprised at the high quality of this handbag considering how inexpensive it is for a real leather handbag. I typically carry a Coach, Ellen Tracy, Mulberry, Burberry or Chloe' handbag and was a bit off-put by the cotton interior of the HESHE bag but it seems to be holding up with no concern. One thing to alert purchasers to is that the handbag comes shipped flat, wrapped in a dust bag, inside a heavy plastic bag. When I first unwrapped the handbag, there was a heavy odor of leather dye that took 2 days of airing outside on my terrace to completely eradicate. After the odor was gone I tightly stuffed the bag with white wrapping tissue paper and gently heated the outside of the handbag to remove creases and shape the handbag. The heating/shaping process took all of 10 mins. I've had to do the same thing with leather handbags shipped from Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Saks. This handbag is so outstanding this is the second review I've ever written on Amazon and I've purchased an untold number and vast array of items from Amazon over the past 15 years. I would just like to mention that the smell will go away leave it hanging where it can air out..a patio, covered porch, etc a couple days and it’s gone. these are awesome purses and great customer service. You will not be disappointed.. trust me! I love the purse! I think there should be some sort of filler, stuffing or bubble plastic inside for shape purpose when shipping. And that odor, whoa! It only took some febreze and a couple days hanging on my patio airing out to get rid of it, but it is gone no damage no trace of odor. Oh, I did put some plastic in it for shape while it aired out, which worked perfectly! It holds shape, no slouching or buckled sides I just really liked the style and colors the size, of this purse I didn’t want to return it unless there wasn’t any way to clear the odor. Whatut a fun bag. I Just got it today and I have to admit I was quite surprised at the look and quality. I read the reviews and was hesitant about the smell but lucky me, there is NO ODOR thus far. I have it hanging in the hall way and was thinking about sitting it outside, but so far there's no need. The colors are vibrant but not overthetop. Love the size and the pockets but they are flimsy, the phone pocket could be larger but I don't use that anyway. This bag is throw on your jeans and top and grocery shop, do lunch, meet the girls for a drink. It screams "take me and show me off" ... show more

Very pretty handbag. Just wish it was as retry as the pictures. The colors weren’t as vibrant and the pattern was completely off. I like pink but not an abundance of it. Unfortunately, this one I got was majority of pink. Sent it back

Just got this and it is gorgeous! Colors are bright and full color coverage of the patches. Very sturdy. It has a purse feel to it, rather than a tote. The neck of the purse actually narrows at the handles, so it's not a straight up opening. You can see it if you look at where the 'squares' end at the top edge. It's not a problem, but just so you know. The handles are ridgid, not floppy and won't tuck into the bag - again, just so you know. The shoulder strap extends enough that you can use a cross body feature and not have the handles up your elbows. Metal pieces are finished and feel of good quality. There is a slight smell - but it's leather and should disapate. Very pleased with the quality. Would by from this vendor again. ... show more
