This purse is a beautiful, soft, genuine leather. Yes, it's real leather. The color is gorgeous, the stitching is consistent, the zippers are hefty and feel strong. I like that the cross body strap is plenty long for my plus sized body. There are numerous pockets and secure zipper compartments for organization. It's big enough to fit my Kindle and a water bottle. i only wish that there were credit card slots so I didn't have to carry a wallet in the purse. I also wish there were a lighter colored lining inside, as the dark color makes it hard to see the slots and pockets. Lastly, a key fob would be nice too. My daughter goes away to college this summer so I wanted to get her a small bag she could use to hold her tablet and a book or two plus a few assorted small items. This works perfectly for that while looking stylish. The leather is gorgeous with a slightly dimpled grain and should age well. The seams and zippers seem like they are well made, although the zippers were individually shrink wrapped in plastic, which was a bit of a hassle to remove. This is, by far, the pretties bag i own. The leather is top quality. It's butter soft. The colouring has this amazing glow to it that's absolutely beautiful. It has a ton of compartments, too. Everything about this bag yells "Artisan"! It holds quite a bit, without being large and awkward. I do wish the strap was just a fraction wider, but with the stunning look and quality, i'm not going to take a star off for that. ... show more
