I'm stoked fanny packs are back in style and purchased a couple to help alleviate some neck/shoulder tension. I purchased a few different Herschels and a leather pack. I wanted something that was cute and could go with me from my kiddo's soccer practice to work to the gym. Both Herschels were disappointing. Pros: This little bag holds a lot. I intended to take this mountain biking and hiking, so filled it up with supplies to see what would fit. It easily held my wallet, phone, packet of tissues, hand sanitizer, Chapstick, bike tool, bike patch kit, and car key. Probably could have fit a granola bar in there as well. Cons: This particular bag had a few issues that kept it from being the perfect solution. 1) The waist strap is incredibly long. When it's at my size, the excess strap loops back around and hangs off of the strap clip which just looks sloppy. 2) This is just one big pocket. There aren't any inner pockets or separate compartments, meaning your keys, phone, sunglasses and wallet are all in the same compartment. That was annoying. 3) There wasn't any info on whether or not this bag is water proof, which doesn't make it a good fit for outdoors stuff like festivals, hiking, etc.

The bag is very helpful in eliminating weight and clutter from your pockets. This is a bigger bag than traditional bags alike. This larger size allows me to hold more things like gum, chapstick, wallet, shades, and my small traveling cologne bottles. Rather stylish. Only blemish on my particular product was the stitching on my main zipper was shortened so the flap that’s meant to cover the zipper does not properly sit flush to the bag to hide the zipper. Minor defect but Herschel always delivers.

The item is cool but it would be better if there were more pockets within the main chamber. There should be a way to keep your things organized and not shaking around. Idk if I'd comfortably travel with this out of fear i would be unorganized but a trip to the grocery store is alright.

I got this bag as a mid size sling bag. It fits my wallet, phone, keys just fine. In comparison to other items from this same brand, this one feels...cheap? It's perfectly serviceable but nothing exciting. If you like this brand and are looking for a basic black pack, this is the one for you.

I bought this to wear on a plane. I love that I can take it instead of a purse and have everything at my fingertips. The strap is really long-- perfect for all sizes, but can be awkward if the length is adjusted for a smaller waist. There is a lot of extraneous "tail" and the clasp for the extra could use some modification. I just deal with it, but you could cut it off and sew it over so it doesn't fray.

I have three Herchiels bags and I love them. They’re well made and light weight. The Fanny pack is my everyday bag. I love the size. I can carry a full wallet, keys, my phone and my lipstick and sunglasses. I take mine when we go to festivals or amusement parks and I love the durability.
