My son loves playing with his Spider-Man toy but the red coating on the hands, feet and torso immediately starting peeling. We just gave it to him two days ago and already more than half of the coating is peeling off. It’s disappointing that a toy intended for kids to play with and stretch would be so poorly designed.

I've gotten several of these the past couple months, my kids are very into them right now. I'm not much of a fan of them. They do pick up some fuzz so I have to wash them, and the characters with the paint design like venom with the chest emblem and the red painted parts of spider man wear off so quickly. For this reason hulk is the best, zero paint and a larger stature of toy than Spider-Man and one version of hulk is the least expensive at less than $8 as I'm writing this review. We got groot thinking he would be large like hulk but he's smaller, no paint to wear off though and while he looks opaque it you bulge out the torso you can see green leaves inside, similar to how one spiderman version has webs inside.

We got the hulk one for my son & he loved it. He took it everywhere with him, slept with it, and it really helped to hold his attention for longer periods of time. 1. The hulk one isn’t as stretchy as I would say it is squishy...in case stretchiness is particularly what you’re going for with the hulk one. 2. There’s no paint on him except for his head, but we didn’t see any wear after 3 months. 3. His shorts are glued to him, but it wears off over time & my son took them off of him so he was easier to squish. 4. It does have an off-putting scent that’s more strong when it’s new. I washed it with dish soap, which didn’t help much, but made me feel better that my son was handling it. 5. It is a bit hard to squish when you first get it. It softens more over time and has better squishability. That also means it’s a bit thinner, so he finally busted a very small slit in the hulk’s fist one day and the beads all came out. It was surprisingly not bad to clean up, though. I was ok also bc he got SO much use & wear out of the toy & it lasted so long before it busted. He had a megaladon one that didn’t last a month before busting & the goo squirted across our new, fabric headboard :/ Luckily, that was clear goo. The hulk didn’t have liquid in him to spill out, thankfully. Just beads that seem mildly lubricated. My son helped pick them all up and we put them in a freezer bag. That, shockingly, kept him occupied ALL DAY, so we still got use, even after it busted 🙌🏼 He liked watching the beads roll & fall from one corner of the bag to the other & then would squish them sometimes. I didn’t expect it to last that long even, but freezer bags are harder to puncture. I’m now ordering a container of a bunch of these little water beads to put in freezer bags for him to play with. I did put fiber tape over the closure so he wouldn’t open the bag & dump them out. It’s worked great! He’s been pretty hard on it, too! Anyway, not a bad buy for a young, hulk fan.

The media could not be loaded. We purchased this originally at Walgreens for much cheaper. My son loved the toy so much. His brother chewed on it and put a hole in the hulk material and it started leaking water. So we had to throw out the original and buy a replacement. The store we purchased from, no longer had them in stock. So we had to pay more on Amazon. My son is a sensory loving kiddo. This toy has great auditory and touch input for him. Just beware, it can be punctured easily. My son is 4, and it's one of his favorite toys.

My nephew LOVES this! The only thing I don’t like about it is that Hulks pants are removable (he’s not anatomically designed, but the kiddo’s 3 so the fewer pieces, the better!). He LOVES this thing though!! Won’t take a bath without it since I gave it to him!! 🥰
