I trust this brand and specifically this version of their 8 strand line. It does the trick just fine, very strong, and doesn't fade super fast. I use it to spool pretty much most of my catfishing rods (and I have a lot of them.) The 1000m spool is about the most economical way to do it. I’ve purchased this brand for over 5 years and it has never let me down. It’s strong, sturdy and easy to cast. I’m using this line in my baitcasting reels, spinning reels and conventional reels. I have a wide range of pounds test and colors and from 4 strands to 12 strands. They are abrasion resistant to a point. I’ve caught blacktip sharks, bull red drums and a huge black drum and many other species of saltwater fish. This line is awesome and outlast the competition.
