I did not buy this for fishing, but my project I used this on requires a lot of tensile strength and this very thin line performs extremely well under 280 pounds of vertical stress (I didn't need to test higher than that). It stretches pretty far, but for my application it doesn't matter how far it stretches. It's also somewhat hard to cut unless you have an extremely sharp knife. I ordered 4 (four) reels of this line and for some reason Amazon split in into two different orders. One, which was two reels, was delivered on the day it was promised which was four days ago. Now the second part which is the remaining two reels in being delivered today which is four days later than the promised delivery date. I tried to talk to customer service to see if they can explain why this happened and just getting someone that can halfway speak English was quite a task. Anyway, this is a great fishing line and I am happy with the product. I'm just not so happy with Amazon's customer service. Tight lines! ... show more

I go on long range tuna fishing and one of the fishing techniques is jigging a flat fall lure and the depth where fish are being marked. Before when I had single color spectra it was very difficult to gage the depth of your lure. Now I can get a reasonable estimate as each color is 10 meters. Doing a little math in my head to adjust for line angle due to current I have been having better luck and more hits. Good product at a reasonable price. Wish they made it in hollow-core.
