I trust this brand and specifically this version of their 8 strand line. It does the trick just fine, very strong, and doesn't fade super fast. I use it to spool pretty much most of my catfishing rods (and I have a lot of them.) The 1000m spool is about the most economical way to do it. I'd happily get a 1500m or 2000m if it was actually a savings. Bang for buck, get the 1000M spool. ... show more
