Overall this desk is great. Lots of room and very sturdy. It is also extremely heavy. I love that it’s easy to raise and lower and you can also pre set the heights you like. Putting it together was simple enough. I think it took us about 1.5 hours. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the top is in 4 separate pieces. Two for the long side and 2 for the other, so there is a seam in the middle of the desk. ... show more

The desk is large and sturdy. Assembly wasn't bad, I had to watch a video because instructions and photos weren't the best. Biggest complaint is the seams between the desktop panels. Because the desktop surface is a laminate it cheapens the look. The drawer is a joke. I wish it was the same material as the desk. For the price, it's a good buy. ... show more

Desktop is in 4 pieces and is cheaply made. Drive shaft came with bent housing and desk is not able to raise and lower without a replacement. Seller tried to refund me $20 for my inconvenience and won’t send replacement part as requested. I would not recommend. Spend more and buy a better desk from someone else. ... show more

It is a very heavy desk to assemble and I did it myself but it was hard! At one point the written instructions contradicted themselves, but with starting at it long enough and thinking it through I figured out the issue. I am very happy with the color (white/oak) and size. Like others, did not realize there would be a seam in the desk but I bought a nice desk mat that hides that. I looked for a long time for a desk that had the features I wanted (L-shpaed, sit/stand, riser shelves). Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

Well packed. Easy to assemble. Solid. Precisely working electronic controls. Beautiful finish. Extra smaller step can be mounted on any side. Slight wood glue spill on surfaces needed cleaning using warm lightly soaked cloth. Some screw sockets came loose from wooden mountings, but still functioned. Screws are soft, and can strip the heads if pushed a bit harder than required. Regardless, found to be not a show stopper if you use hand tightening. Power drill bit is included. Plenty of extra hardware included. If you want to use a power drill, you must know how to use low torque settings and slow speed driving. Anything higher power and/or speed will strip the screw heads for nothing. ... show more

Initial unit did not work after assembled. Contacted the manufacturer and they were very responsive. It is difficult to work with the manufacturer directly under the Amazon rules of engagement. Once I made the decision to work with the manufacturer, they sent the correct replacement part, and all is well in VA. The desk has exceptional workspace and transitions from sitting to standing effortlessly. It is only one of a couple that the entire L of the desk moves. it therefore does require you to have to move anything on your desk to adjust heights. Good design and engineering. ... show more
