Don’t know what “koa” is or how it smells like, but I like almond scents so I ordered it. It is an interesting scent. I’d say kinda spring/summery scent? Has a bit of a fruitiness to it with good almond scent. Reminded me of fruit pastry or biscotti. (Not much of a fruit person so I might be off with this description). When dried down, it leaves a subtle and nice scent to it. I love Hempz formula so I might actually get a full size when spring comes. ... show more

Love this lotion! Fresh scent, moisturizing and not oily afterward. The bottle is a bit smaller than I expected, but the 2.25 oz was clearly marked so that's on me. Planning on buying more and trying more scents, although this Koa and Sweet Almond is amazing!

I love it but I can't afford to buy the big ones. For context I have eczema on my hands brought on by washing them too much. I need a good lotion but I hate the sticky heavy feeling most lotions leave you with. Years ago I got a sample from Ipsy of this brand and I've been hooked. Once it's been rubbed in, it's moisturizing without that heavy lotion feeling. They always smell nice too which is a bonus. However I will warn people with easily irritated noses, this one does have a strong scent especially when it's just been applied. Hempz does make an unscented one though ... show more
