You have to keep it turned down very low or the snow bounces off of the snowman all over the floor or counter. But if you turn it to low it’ll stop blowing the snow. It’s also bigger than it seems so make sure you have a large area for it

Very hard to control the flow of snow, sprays over edge or hardly comes out at all. Very cute overall however. Wish there was a separate control for the snow feature. Great for a tabletop tree.

    • Unable to keep the snow from ending up on the floor.

I purchased this item and I am unable to adjust snow rate properly. You get a big bag of Styrofoam balls called snow faux. I filled the umbrella up 1/2 way 3/4 and all of the snow. After 15 to 20 second snow bounces all over the floor. I adjusted the flow rate at different settings and you still get snow all over the floor. THE INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH SNOW TO PUT IN THE BASE OF THE UMBRELLA. I called the manufacturer who is Hanover Products and talked with them for two day and they told me I had too much snow in it. I told them I took snow out, added more, kept adjusting the flow rate and the snow still bounces out of the umbrella and all over the floor.. I send them pictures to them, emailed them and tried to send them a video which couldn't be sent to their mail box. It takes about an hour to assemble. The only thing that was nice is the lights blink in sink with the music. The only way I could keep snow from going on the floor is leave the top off of the lamp post. Then the snow shoots out of the top of the lamp post 4-6 inches like a fountain. I also could not find a phone number, address or e-mail address for Fraser Hill Farms ( They have Hanover Products manufacturer their items.) ... show more

Very cute tree!! However when you turn it up to the highest be careful because the snow will pop out everywhere. Need to keep it on low to medium.

I love the snowfall, but the flashing lights get annoying and so is the music. At least the music can be turned off, but there is no way to control the lights.

Impossible to put together. Holes are too small for the screws. The entire item is cheaply made poorly constructed. There were no instructions on how to put it together. So disappointed
