Definitely adds a noticeable bronze color, but this washes off in the shower. For this reason I'll only use it when I really "need" to look darker in a certain outfit, and I'll use my regular tanning maximizer the other days. It has a bit of an orange hue that I don't particularly like, but it applies very evenly and doesn't streak. It has that bronzer smell, but I have yet to find a bronzer that doesn't.
