First let me start off with the only negative. I really don’t understand how it takes them so long to ship these boots, but the estimated ship time was correct, but they are worth the wait. Now that I have had these boots and I’ve worn them for a few weeks, they surpassed my expectations in every way. They are extremely comfortable, my feet don’t get cold in them even when it got down to -11 yesterday, they have a firm sole and great traction in the snow, and they look great. They fit true to size. I can’t speak to durability yet as I’ve only had them a few weeks. I hope for the price that they will last a few years and it seems like they are built to last, but time will tell.

Love these boots!! They are super comfortable (love the furry interior), very stylish and very practical for my Colorado weather (walking in light snow). I ended up buying the black but was eyeing the olive green. They were tight when I tried them on in the Helly store, probably because I was wearing a thicker winter sock. Perfect fit with a basic crew sock.

These probably should be $200, they are incredible winter boots. I’ve spent the better part of this winter shopping around for boots and have been disappointed in either the look or quality of everything I’ve seen. Timberlands for example look pretty good, but I’ve read about and seen too many fall apart to splash money on them. I live at >9,000ft and have high physical demands on my boots, so I needed something built to last and to withstand a lot of snow & cold. Before seeing these boots I had only recognized Helly Hansen as one of the premier manufacturers of high quality ski coats, so I figured I’d give these a shot since I liked the looks from the pictures. I really couldn’t be happier with my purchase, they were easily worth every dollar spent. Construction is thoroughly built to last, it can be seen in every stitch that is firmly anchored through multiple layers of durable fabric and waterproof leather. There is no way these will fall apart like you’ll see from review pictures of virtually all other boots in this price range. These are also, as a pair, lighter than just a single one of my previous boot. They are verifiably waterproof. They have a special breathable, exceedingly comfortable insole. And above the quality and comfort, they look fantastic and are easily one of the best looking shoes in general that I’ve owned. I probably sound like an H/H rep or a bot (on these boots, I’m not), I simply hope others can find the joy that these boots have given me. And that it is known that these will withstand some of the harshest high alpine winter environments, while looking and feeling fantastic.

Just worse these on a trip to the Alps. No issues. Warm, and had not trouble walking distance in these thru town.

The reviews I read said these were great snow boots and waterproof. Neither is true nor honest with these boots. The walk to my truck was comfortable and fashionable but once I got in the snow I regretted these completely. These are made for walking on the snow not in the snow. Wishing 29 minutes my feet were wet and frozen. My wools socks could not resist the water as the wind blew through my boots. These are just made for those who are t going in the snow at all. I went to my local agriculture store bought some 50 dollar boots and now I know these boots are worth maybe 30 bucks. Great stand around shoes but not worth buying if you have to go in the snow at all. By the way it was 23 degrees out and snow was 7 inches has to feed cows and this was a huge mistake.

I’m giving theses a 3 star for the single fact that they are not at all waterproof. They shouldn’t be described as waterproof at all. That being said, they are comfortable, warm look good. When cold and only snow, no slush they are fine but if it’s rain, puddles, etc you are walking through, your feet will be wet!!! Please don’t list features that aren’t accurate.
