Constructed from durable Vibram rubber, the ball feet are ideal for use on sand, rocks, mud, and grass. Easy to install, the rubber ball feet slide onto compatible chair legs with light pressure. Simply pull off and store in included mesh bag when not needed. I purchased these blue (Helinox Chair Stabilizing Vibram Rubber Ball Feet) for a trip to Florida/the Beach, and they work perfectly as expected. I had no trouble sitting in my chair in the sand. The only time it became an issue is if I was sitting too close to the surf and water was able to come up under the chair, then the chair would sink into the sand due to the water pulling sand away from under me. Otherwise any dry surface sand or otherwise these should be no problem!! *Definitely recommended!! **Easy to clean and maintain. (just rinse with water) ***Providing different colors are a nice touch, My particular chair is Helinox One - Orange *People complained that these were heavy...I didn't find that too much of an issue but I only used it for the beach not backpacking across Europe....Not that heavy if your already lugging around the chair as it is.... :) There's no point in having a chair you can't even sit in because the terrain is unaccommodating to the chairs stick legs.... Not being a backpacker or really a hiker of any sort, I mostly needed something small enough I could strap to the rack of my bike or toss in my backpack for hanging out with friends at a local lake. My pet peeve is an unsecure chair so I picked these up to help reduce that. They do seem to increase the stability of the chairs quite a bit. I was also happily surprised, given some of the other reviews, that they did not impede the chair folding or fitting back into the sack while attached. I don't see a great reason to keep them separate in the provided sack--but it is a nice quality--unless you're swapping between activities where you're super weight conscious like backpacking and then hanging out somewhere that's easily accessible and want to be able to pick up either one sack or two readily. Otherwise, it seems easy enough to just store them with the chair and pull them off if you need to occasionally shave off some weight. ... show more

Got these feet for the Helinox zero chair and they work great. They didn't sink into the sand at the beach which is what I bought them for. They ARE heavy in comparison to the chair, so don't buy these thinking they're a small/light option. I wouldn't take them backpacking or anything, but they work great for the beach or car camping. Definitely don't lose the storage bag because they won't fit in your chair bag. I'm sure these don't work with EVERY similar camp chair but as other reviews suggest, they will work on some. ... show more

I was surprised how big they were. If I’m spending this money to buy an ultralight/ compact chair it doesn’t make sense to add something that adds about 50% more bulk to my pack. I don’t have a problem with the build quality just an issue with size for an ultralight product.
