  • They fit a bit long
Size: 30W x 32L Color: Coyote Brown / Taiga Green
Outstanding pants. I wore them two days this weekend in the woods. I really put them through some paces. They are comfortable, cool, stretch in all the right places, have well-thought-out pocket placement, and took a fair amount of abuse for a first outing. I wear 30W32L Levi's Blue Jeans and those are a tiny bit long because I wear boots. I ordered the same size for these pants and unless they shrink when i wash them, 30W30L would have been spot on. If these hold up over the summer, I'll definitely order another pair in the fall and I'll order 30W30L this time. If they start falling apart or anything, I will update this review. My Crye Precision pants came in this weekend so I'll be trying them out next weekend. It will be interesting to see how they compare. ... show more

  • Great pants!
Size: 30W x 34L Color: Coyote Brown / Taiga Green
Absolutely amazing pants. I would favorably compare to Fjallraven, Arkteryx, Patagonia etc but at much more reasonable price. Fit, stitching and overall construction are top-notch and they seem to be "wearing" very well; durable. I have put one coat of OtterWax on the canvas sections and the fabric took the wax well, barely noticeable. I actually like a "weathered" waxed-canvas look (and want to maximize waterproof) so am going to apply at least one more coat of wax, if not 2. Anyhow, these are absolutely superb trousers. Quite breathable and stretchy, very comfortable and maneuverable. I would say the fabric is a tad bit on the "noisey" side for hunting or tactical needs, perhaps; but I have simply loved the heck out of these pants on a couple "cool temp" camping trips so far, many hikes and daily wear. Would definitely recommend these to anyone. ... show more

  • Pros & Cons
Size: 38W x 34L Color: Coyote Brown / Taiga Green
These pants are great for a rugged look. The fabric is very comfortable, and very durable for working as lightweight as they are. Military, outdoor and industrial tough yet attractive and comfortable for casual wear. I do miss the back pockets on the outback line. The price tag is pretty high. I ordered a size too big with concerns they would fit too tight. They did not. I'll keep them and wear them over sweatpants in the winter time. And I do plan on ordering another pair in Olive Drab when I can afford it. ... show more

  • Great product and excellent customer service!
Size: 34W x 32L Color: Coyote Brown / Taiga Green
These pants performed better than expected. I wore them hunting my first time putting them on. As I walked through the wet brush the water just ran off the pants and thorns and briars didn’t even get close to penetrating the fabric. The zippered pockets and Velcro pouches were great for storage and handheld radios. The Velcro at the bottom of the leg was great at preventing anything from getting inside your boots or shoes. The pants run slightly longer on the inseam than advertised, which worked out for me since I received a size smaller than what I ordered. The service from the company was phenomenal! The original order said it would take a month for delivery and I canceled my order because I needed something sooner for my hunting trip. They quickly emailed me and said they would express ship them so I could have them in time. Great customer service and very quick with their responses. Extremely happy all the way around! ... show more

  • Amazing pants that gather attention
Size: 30W x 32L Color: Coyote Brown / Black
I’m a huge fan of these pants, they’re my go-to pants for my job in residential construction. Clients always ask me about them so they certainly gather attention but in a positive way. Usually when people ask I mention how they’re a great alternative to cargo pants as they are just as functional while retaining a tailored fit that looks professional. The black fabric is similar to a durable elastic while the colored fabric is a canvas-like material that does an amazing job at wicking water. Now that the weather is getting below freezing I have found that these pants accommodate a thermal base layer very well and keep me totally comfortable while working 10+ hours in below freezing conditions. I highly recommend these pants over similar types as the fit and function is outstanding for the price. ... show more

  • Not what I was expecting.
Size: 30W x 32L Color: Coyote Brown / Taiga Green
Pants are comfortable, they're lightweight, they fit very well, but not at all what i was expecting... i thought they'd be made of a thicker material at least on the front, they're not, they're very thin, so im not sure what the lifespan will be, there's no button as it's a velcro closure tab on the front... we'll see how long that holds up... i planned on these being my hay moving pants but i guess there's one way to find out if they're worth the money i paid. ... show more

  • FIELD TESTED
Size: 30W x 34L Color: Coyote Brown / Taiga Green
Helikon Tek, a name I’ve grown to respect as I’ve used this product in the field for almost a year. I use these for hiking, windy and rainy days, and hunting (Can be slightly noisy like a wind breaker during hunting). Note that the fabric changes with the color (ex. In coyote the green is more elastane and brown is more nylon/polyester). I’m also tall and these fit great with many adjustments to fit my size. Great pants and only damage I’ve accumulated is slight stitching fraying from hiking that hasn’t affected the structural integrity. If you like the look and want something to last I’d have to recommend Helikon. ... show more
