My son is 10 and likes these Heelys. They are his first pair. They are lightweight, cool-looking, and very easy to assemble. Just pop in the wheels and go. They take some getting used to, but there are good videos on YouTube that will help kids to learn the basics of pushing off and steering. They are mostly comfortable and fit as expected. My son's only complaint is that his toes get crunched after a while. This is a known issue with Heelys. I think the design needs a wider toe area. Seems like a decent quality shoe but the sizing is off. Ordered for my 9 year old son who is a size 1 youth and they were way too small. Compared them to a size 1 shoe he has and these shoes are definitely smaller. Would recommend sizing up.
