Now I love me some purple, but I wasn't expecting anything I could even wear again. I was so wrong! Right out the box, these were GORGEOUS! The color is rich without being garish, and the embroidery is beautiful! I have a huge 10- wide foot, and big calves, so I was worried my feet would look huge like a rodeo clown or the top wouldn't fit over my cankles- This was not the case!- they fit perfectly and true-to-size. I can't believe it. If you are on the fence, do it. I am going to order the black ones too.
