I have to say when I first heard about HECS, I thought was some snake oil type product. I WAS WRONG. I have had unreal results with deer so far. Material seems cheap but it's not. I wear it under my camo and I didn't sweat my bum off. It's not overly warm, it's lightweight. It os not waterproof. I'm 6 ft 1 at 195 lbs. The large fit perfectly in the pants but the shirt is a little tight. XL would've been better for the shirt. Camo pattern is solid except the green is a little brighter than I go for. I will say the price is too high. I could see it perfect aboit $50 cheaper but $200 isn't too bad. The socks and gloves are way overpriced at $40 though. Overall, I have to HIGHLY recommend HECS as it seems to really work. The science behind it is solid.

I like this product. I have not hunted in it yet because the shirt was too small and I had to send it back. That was really not my fault because I called HECS before purchasing for help with the correct size. I gave the rep. my measurements and she told me to buy a medium, but I ended up needing a large. I had to pay to ship it back to them, but in my opinion HECS should have paid for it since they told me what size to get. I was instructed to send it back in the original packing and that cost over $10.00 because it was a priority USPS envelope. Besides that ordeal I am satisfied with the product and looking forward to wearing it when I hunt.

9/12/22 I just want to say what a great product HECS is. I recently returned from an archery elk hunt. I was set up on a wallow and had 2 different bears come in. I was standing next to a large tree in a brush blind. The first bear came to 15 yards and we had a stare down. He couldn't figure out what I was. He never did spook and hung around the area for several minutes. The next evening I had another bear that I thought was going to get in my brush blind with me. I stopped him at 6 ft!. After I spooked him he stopped at 25 yards and looked back like he wasn't sure what had just happened. He also hung around for several minutes even though I had intentionally spooked him. I'm sure this wouldn't have happened without HECS. In past hunts I have had multiple close encounters with elk. I am a believer and will always be wearing my HECS. Tony

If you believe in the product or not is one thing. But if you’re paying $180 for a base layer anything it should be better quality. This fabric has a plastic feeling on the inside. It looks in the pictures like the sports material like under armor. It’s far from it. The fabric is thin but does not breathe. Tried it on for 5 minutes max and was already drenched in sweat. If the concept does work I’ll be so sweaty the animals will smell me for miles. I love the pattern on it. But couldn’t be less interested to wear it as it’s not comfortable. Went against my better judgement and tried this “base layer” in the woods. At 28degrees I was sweating. This fabric does not breathe. Because I was sweating I was cold no matter what I put on. Didn’t see any animals because I couldn’t stay in the woods. Can’t tell you if it actually works. Clearly the YouTube reviews are paid because I don’t know who could wear these for an actual back country Hunt. Wouldn’t suggest putting this on the outside of the clothing as there is a shine to the fabric. It illuminates in sunlight, and is definitely not waterproof. If I could return it I would simply due to the reaction of the fabric. My loss. Don’t let it be your loss too.

I'm still skeptical but honestly I had .... Let's see here.... I sat the entire bow and gun season and never once did I get picked by sight. That's never happened to me. There were a few deer I know my scent spooked but I had deer a 3 yardsoften and they never looked up or spooked from my movements. Which is unbelievable. I'd say the suit helps if not makes it possible to draw your bow undetected. It cuts the wind and is very comfortable too.
