The magnet is very strong and attaches securely to the side of my refrigerator without sliding or shifting. Instead of paper towels, I’m currently using it to hang oven mitts and other kitchen accessories, and it has held them with no problem. I'm very happy with this. The magnet is strong and it seems like a good quality item. It also looks good and was a good price. Overall very happy with this purchase. It works for a standard size paper towel roll; not sure if jumbo rolls would fit, but hopefully!

I didn’t know if I was going to like this or not but I actually really like it. It’s magnetic so you can place it vertical or horizontal. I have it on my fridge for my paper towel towels, and it works great.. that said I think there are many uses for this. You could even hang it on a metal door. If you only wanted a half curtain and use it as a curtain rod because the magnetic aspect to the item is very strong. ... show more

This piece is impossible to put together as it comes in two pieces that are secured with three tiny screws. For reference: I'm a handy person who has built shelving units. These screws do not thread into the magnet part (the flat piece that holds the thing to a surface), so I was unable to use this item at all, as it was impossible to put together.
