This A-Frame Trellis was easy for me to put together. The directions with pictures were very clear, except for the missing A-B connection, but most can assume the process after putting parts B-C together. Everything is black, from the screws to the screw caps and frame. I luckily installed the screw heads on the outside so the bump of the screw caps are inside, but they are rubbery so it wouldn’t scratch you anyway. They include a screwdriver and a tightening wrench to help make installation an absolute breeze for a novice builder like me! I usually give up and pass the task on to someone else because I don’t understand the directions! The fully installed trellis is just about as tall as a tomato cage. The A frame (part A) comes already together so it is a sturdy base. The part Cs of the trellis come with different feet which help go into ground easily if needed. You can use just part A, add part B, or add parts B and C to get one full size trellis. Parts B and C are not designed to be their own separate A Frame. It is not extremely heavy, but it has enough weight that and balance that it is not going to blow over easily in a strong wind. It is described as heavy duty and I believe it is. It might not support a 5 year old using it as parkour, but it will support the weight of heavy vines! The set comes with helpful items to help secure your plants to the trellis to guide them including plant tape and plant brackets. The gardening gloves are a nice touch. This was easy to assemble and came with a screwdriver. The size is nice for my small 3ftx8ft garden beds. I'm trying cucumbers on one side that are just finally starting to move up it and beans on the other side. I'm not sure about durability though. It's been outside for about a month and the screws and spots where the grid is attached to the frame have begun to rust. I will be dissapointed if this ends up only being useful for 1 or 2 seasons. In the fall I'll use some rust stop spray paint and hope that helps extend its life span. Will likely pivot to cattle panels after it's no longer useable. It also came with multiple types of plant ties. I didn't end up needing them for this but have been using them on some other plants. ... show more

I purchased this trellis to support vegetables in my garden bed, and so far I'm impressed with the quality. Assembly was very straightforward, and using all of the included panels allowed me to create a sturdy A-frame structure. The pointed ground stakes made it easy to secure firmly into the soil, giving it a stable feel right from the start. I haven't had the opportunity to grow my vegetables on it yet, but it's assembled, in place, and ready. Based on the heavy-duty construction and solid frame, I don't anticipate any issues supporting climbing vegetables. It also folds down for storage when the season is over, which is a nice bonus.     • Very sturdy and well made, and I love that it's adjustable.
As a home gardener, I'm always looking for sturdy supports that will last more than one growing season, and this A-frame trellis is wonderful. It was easy to assemble, feels incredibly solid, and stays firmly in place even after heavy rain and windy days. I'm using mine for cucumbers and climbing beans, and the grid gives the vines plenty of places to grab onto as they grow. It keeps the plants off the ground, improves airflow, and makes harvesting so much easier. I can already tell it's helping keep my garden looking neater and my vegetables healthier. I also love the adjustable A-frame design because it fits perfectly in my raised bed and gives me flexibility depending on what I'm growing. The rust-resistant metal and sturdy construction gives me confidence that it will hold up season after season without bending or deteriorating. I ordered this trellis for my son. He grows morning glories and he needed a substantial trellis for them to rest on. As it stands right now, his morning glories have not grown enough to go on the trailers. But it is the perfect size for what he needs as large and sturdy.
