I bought these for my mom's walker because the tennis balls she had been using had worn through. She loves these and says they move and feel so much better that the tennis balls. My mom said they work well on smooth or carpeted surfaces and glide so much better on the carpet than what she was using before. When her physical therapist saw them, she commented that these are the best. Some gliders that are like skis can get bumped so that they aren't facing forward which causes then not to glide as well. Purchased for my mother. She seems to prefer them to the tennis balls. May depend on the surfaces one tends to travel. These work better on carpeted floors. But they also glide well on tiles. She likes them. Said she was stepping on the ski type glides but not these. Have to see how they wear though. ... show more

These are so much better than the rubber skies I had previously. I kept stepping on the curled part of the ski thus creating a possible tripping hazard. That has been eliminated with these. I don't like the vibration of these feet on concrete, but it's the only material I've had issue with. I will buy again when these wear out. Only thing I'd like are more colors that aren't so neon.. ... show more
