I got this cane about two months ago when I had a herniated disc that made walking difficult and even painful if I didn't have something to lean on. I would have liked to have used a walker for how I felt at the time but my apartment is a bit cramped so navigating with it would've been rather difficult. I won't lie that when I first got this cane and I felt it, it felt very rugged and solid. Despite the price nothing about it felt cheap. It felt sturdy and well built when put together but I was definitely hesitant to lean on it too much. I am 5'9" and 175lbs. I had the cane height set to the maxiumum and it felt pretty comfortable. I definitely had some trepidation when walking around with it thinking that at any moment it was going to bend or give way somehow, yet it never did. Not even close. As I got more comfortable with it I was even using it to get up off the floor ( lying on the floor was the only way to get any relief ). I would actually grab the handle while it had it leaning against the floor and it never gave the slightest indication of instability of weakness. For the next month and a half I didn't go anywhere without it. It was easy to fold and take with me when I had to go to the doctor or just have on hand in case my back and sciatica got too painful. I used it on carpet, linoleum and pavement and it always felt secure. Earlier this week after my back finally healed I pulled something in my back leg behind the knee and damn it hurt! I could not put any weight on it at all. I immediately hobbled my way over to get this cane and while it did nothing for the pain itself it at least let me get around until I healed enough. I can't say how well it will work for someone for needs to depend on a cane or walker long term but I am confident this would make a great cane to have with you at the very least as a backup or to get around in tighter spaces where the more common 3 to 4 footed canes might have some difficulty with.

I am delighted! Wonderful price, as well! Clever design, well-made, sturdy, with a good weight and for me, an octogenarian, I walk now with a sense of security and confidence. I bought the black version and have slightly modified it as follows: removed the white sticker by the tip; found that the metal key-ring holding the hang strap interfered with my grip so replaced with a soft black cord from an eyeglass strap holder and finally covered the bold white lettering HEALTH BAZAAR with a strip of shiny electrical tape so it disappeared and I no longer present as some kind of three-legged mobile billboard.

there are some really good things about this cane, but also some things that may not be for everyone. (when i compare this product to others, i'm comparing it with others in a similar price range and with comparable features.) color & finish: perfection. i got the pink one and i've never had such a smooth cane, nor such a nice pink color. the smoothness is nice when you're assembling, disassembling, and adjusting heights. height adjustable: seems fine by me; i'm 5'6 with shorter arms and on the third peg from the top. compared to others, it seems like the range of heights it accommodates is slightly shorter; if you're really tall, this may not work (but at that point, similar "budget" canes might be hard too) strap: definitely not the highest quality, but it doesn't seem like it'll disintegrate any moment. i've seen better, but it could be worse. handle: it's different, for sure; it's angled upward toward your wrist, and pretty chunky. you may love or hate this - i'm indifferent. the tip/ferrule is nice, but not as pliable as the product photo may indicate. it's pretty solid, overall, and large. if you have something like a rollator with a cane holder, it may not fit (depending on the product, obviously). weight: it's a bit weightier than other amazon canes in this price range. i personally like it, it feels more supportive and it's less of a hassle to get it on the ground (for context, where i live is very windy).

Love this cane. Left the old one in a shopping cart and left/lost it. This one arrived FAST, same day. It was easy to assemble, easy to adjust to comfortable height and is very stable and sturdy. Large range of height adjustments that would fit 99.99% of the population. I will probably buy another of these so I have a backup.
