This new headblade isn't nearly as nice and comfortable as my old one but it doesn't look like the old ones are made any more. Honestly my only complaint about this one is that it seems to work best as a pull instead of a push type blade. What I mean by that is that you will typically use it with the wheels leading the way. On my old headblade it was always opposite of that and that one seemed to work very well. I do have one more small complaint and that's with the strength of the 'springy' mechanism that holds the blade down. It's a bit stiff and it makes me feel like I have to push a bit harder on the blade to make it lay flat on my head. That's kind of scary to me but it's not cut me yet so I guess I'm ok with it. Overall it still does a pretty good job and you can move pretty fast over your head with it.

The flat black limited addition version of the popular HeadBlade razor is a sleek addition to the previous models offered. I love the look and the quality is the same as my previous Headblades (I now own 3). These are very well made head razors, solid and perfectly balanced. I get a great shave and the razor rolls smoothly and cleanly over my scalp with its race car design. Place your fingers into the molded notches and "drive" the HeadBlade ATX across your head - fast, efficient, close and very easy to use. I have never been nicked, not once. The blade cartridges last several shaves (I am using the HB4) and they are very easy to change out. Add other HeadBlade products to enhance your shaving experience like the HeadSlick shave cream and HeadShed Exfoliator. After trying several types of razors (both manual and electric) the HeadBlade is the only one that completely shaves my head without having to constantly retrace swipes in order to reduce random stubble. Great razor and this one just looks cool, like a stealth race car!

I bought this product for my husband who likes to keep his head clean-shaven. He does not have a lot of time to be looking in the mirror and making sure he shaves everywhere all over his head. And he has not mastered the art of just using the back. He loves this product and says it is much easier to use than a regular razor. He feels more comfortable that he will not Nick his head Because he has four wheels on the ground and the tilting angle of the blade remains the same. He is able to get an even cut and maintain it by simply running over his head every day.

As a bald man, this does make shaving easier. Blades are spaced just right to allow a good rinsing during use. Haven’t nicked my head yet using it. 🤞🏼
