A friend of mine gave me a ps 2 for retro gaming I bought this HDMI input for it and it works brilliantly on my 4k tv without the screen issues using an RFI adapter only downside is it does require power to it but they do give you the cord for that but the sound and picture are perfect

The audio is fine and The picture shows but all the games show these black lines/ black dots also all the games have very low brightness the pictures are with my tv with max brightness and contrast. It makes most games unplayable.

This works great! when the PS2 plays PSOne games, it adjusts/lowers the resolution of the TV. This can only happen on the RGB output option, NOT the YPBPR mode. This cable does need external power, I had to connect a usb power plug to it. But it works! I can play PSOne games on my PS2 Slim now. Sound and image are low res quality, but the games work! ... show more

    • It does convert the display and output through hdmi but not good quality
While it dies the job its not good quality video as you'd expect. Its harder to see the full scene very dark no matter how bright you change the TV or computer monitor. I do have more control over the brightness and contrast on the monitor vs the TV but still not good. There looks like remnants of previous screens and text overlay on top ofbthe game. I'm playing a brand new game on a 32" dell monitor. Tried it on 54" Samsung TV and it was not usable because was too dark couldn't tell the difference between the walls from the floor. Maybe it would be better on a colorful bright game but definitely not max payne. ... show more

This productwas used about 10 times and then it stop working. Very cheaply made don't waste your money. Cord length is horrible. Sound quality is okay.
