When the TV is turned on I often get a no signal message, or the picture cuts out and comes back and out and back. Turning on/off the TV will eventually help. But then it repeats the next time I turn the TV on. The problem while repeatable is inconsistent. I'm pretty certain the problem is low signal levels or noise on the HDMI cable. The box MIGHT be helping some, as I think I see a lower rate of incidents, but it's still pretty frequent, so it was not a cure. . ... show more

    • Power Booster with no power
This product is sold as a power booster for HDMI, which it probably is, with the exception of the power cable supplied. It's a DC power in to USB, which the advertisement shows connected to a computer to provide power. The problem is that the purpose of this device is to provide power for extended range, which means it will not be installed anywhere near the source of the video (e.g. laptop), as installing it right next to the source of the video defeats the purpose of the device. ... show more

I have a TV over my fireplace which I previously ran 2 50 foot hdmis thru walls. So I have Directv Genie 2 equipment and have had Directv for almost 10years. Never any problems with hdmi until I recently got a new 65 4K Vizio and upgraded to 4K Receivers I couldn’t get a 4K picture but the 1080i and 1080p worked great. I knew it was a distance problem cause when I moved my 4K receiver closer to the TV by extending the coaxial 4K work just fine. I ordered this item put it behind the TV with an 6 foot hdmi going to TV input connnect the power adapter and Walla it works perfectly and has work for several weeks now. ... show more

I've had issues with getting a 4k 4:4:4 picture to my projector with over 50ft HDMI cables and thought this would solve my problem by connecting two smaller 25 ft one's together. It works fine most of the time but there have been a few instances where I will get no video signal, I haven't narrowed it down to if it is an issue with my cables or this device. ... show more

    • The repeater didn't work. Signal coming from xfinity X1 box had better strength without the repeater
I needed to send signal from xfinity setup box through 100ft HDMI cable. I used to see intermittent interruption in the signal, I though using this repeater will solve that problem. Instead it made it worse, I believe xfinity setup box has enough strength to go for 100 ft, when I made it to go through this repeater the signal strength dropped and it didn't make it to my TV ... show more

Fully HDCP compliant. Pretty good price for a hdmi 2.0 booster. I need a 4k@60hz hdmi booster for my tv. Although many sellers claim that their booster is 4k, you may find they are 4K@30hz, not 4k@60hz, if you read their contents carefully.     • Doesn't work at all
I bought this HDMI repeater to extend the length of my Oculus Rift cable. When I recieved it and tried it out it didn't work with any configuration that I tried; Longer cables, shorter cables, computer to oculus, computer to tv, 1080p and 2k monitors. Idk if I got a dead one or something but unfortunately I missed the window to return it. UPDATE Less than half a day after writing this review and sending feedback they refunded me in full which is super cool. Changing from 1 star to 3 because if this wasn't a good product they wouldn't be quick to refund purchases if they don't have to. I must have just got a bad one. ... show more
