this thing is way overbuilt for the money. seems a little cheap at first but once it's all screwed together the thing is tight and solid. pay attention because there's one shelf that's different than all the others that goes on the top. you can screw it in, you don't have to use the hangers. it went together super easy as long as you just pay attention because it's easy to put something backwards. also easy to put it back the right way. a lot of screws, electric screwdriver with the right tip made things really easy. couldn't be happier with this product. I haven't been inspired to write a review on Amazon product in a while, but this one is well worth the money and exceeded my expectations, hence my comments. I might buy another one, but I'll sure look for this brand name if I need any other small home Furniture stuff. took about an hour to put together even with a power tool, decent amount of pre-assembly before it all goes together at the end. making sure the screws are tight on the metal frame in the beginning is important, because that really helps keep things rigid. seems well built enough that I didn't have to worry about stripping a screw or anything. bulged a couple of edges on the wood because I was a bit aggressive, but still didn't strip. perfect 24-inch fit, thing as tall as hell. I see why they have the top shelf on removable clips because it's so tall, but I feel like screwing it in is a good option, and maybe putting you on the belongs on the top down on the bottom leaving the one at the top open faced. you'll see if you buy it. good optionality with where the shelves can go. very happy.

I usually ignore reviews that say assembly is difficult because I'm mechanically inclined and enjoy putting furniture together. We recently moved and it took me less time to assemble a bunk bed than it did to assemble this thing. It IS sturdy once together and fits perfectly for what I needed, but why are the directions not better? I paid such close attention to how I was putting things together only to get to the last step and have to take the whole thing apart to fix it. The X at the back needs to line up (obviously) but I didn't check the actual measurement before putting it all together. In order to flip the holes for one, all shelves have to come out and all 4 poles have to turn. The look is great, my hands were FILTHY, and it had so much trash with it. Overall, I'd buy it again just save us all the headache and put an arrow sticker to say which way the pole should face or show it specifically in the instructions (I checked when I was finished, and it's no there). The hooks are almost useless since they don't actually attach in any way but it's nice to have. I have the shelf on carpet so I took the back 2 adjustable feet out so it would lean towards the wall (I don't need to or want to anchor it at the location it's in). Other reviewers are being truthful with what a pain it is to install. Many hours just for a shelf is not typical especially when a nearly 1000 piece bunk bed was quicker.

This shelf is a quality unit that has flexibility and stability once built. The shelves are attractive and sturdy. I would use a powered screwdriver to assemble due to the number of screws needing to be installed. I had a problem where the factory had missed a proper hole for installation. Upon contacting the seller they immediately assisted in resolving the problem.

Very very nice stand! Perfect size for small spaces. Solidly built and has lots of space on each shelf. (deep) I'm using it to hold my movies. Not done yet. Each shelf can hold 88 blurays without the cover, and 19 with the movie cover and 22 without. Making a total of 41 mixed on one row. And 62 dvd per shelf. Two rolls of movies per shelf. I bought two more to hold my candles. Haven't put those together yet. Assembly isn't difficult at all. I really like the one shelf that is closed in on all sides. You can choose where you want to place it. The height is perfect for my needs. Has a good weight on it as well. Definitely worth the price.
