Item advertised as 35" length, 12" width, 35" height. After assembling, height is 36" and length is 35-3/4". I had a specific application for this and now it doesn't fit! It's well made and sturdy, though. I don't have another place for this in my home, so gifting this and starting over. Grrrrr....

I was happy with this little bookcase. I needed something narrow for a foyer and this worked perfectly. I plan to buy the larger unit for another area of my home. I put it together by myself in about 30 minutes. The directions were easy to understand and all the hardware was included. It's sturdy and has adjustable legs which is great if it is set on an uneven surface. The 'wood' shelves are obviously laminated but it still looks good. ... show more
